That would be so much fun~ I am making an outfit entirely myself for Comic-con(I plan to try and enter the fashion show) it is in May ^-^ but a meet up some other wise sounds like fun~ The Otaku Cafe I have started with my friends is Lolita based ^-^ You could probably visit when its open~
They're called Maid Cafes, they became popular in Akihabara a while back when the lolita style exploded, but yeah, I started one back in high school ^_^ you can't really do much without a crap load of money and someone who has a degree in business, then you need the space to rent and someone over the age of 18 who has the authority to own a business...yeah. But good luck to you, I guess ^^;; ha. if it happens, lemme know. i've already got a business plan from mine i wrote back in '05-'06 i'm willing to let someone share if you have the resources. my old roomie was even an interior designer and an architect, and my best friend took a business class here at MCC a while back and knows to present a business proposal. just lemme know what's up.
Anywho, yeah. There are surprisingly a lot of really nice cafes in Arizona with that antique flair to it :3 one is even down by where they hold Matsuri every year. I've been doing a lot of research on cafes so that I could start some meetups :3 i have a huuuuge list of them all over AZ. anywho, have a good afternoon. baibai *mwah* <3
wow~ How wonderful! I was thinking of just having it be a club thing :o I mean if it escaladed into something more that would be so amazing! But for now its purely for amusement~ I am learning how to cook and sew, so that is why I am going to be in charge of that, I'm so excited~ That's sounds like so much fun and something I would want to do for life! I don't know how much my parents would support me if I did that though :/
You know, when it comes to something you really wanna do, don't worry about those whom you don't receive support from. It's those who do that matter ^_^ <3 and I'm pretty handy with sewing and I love cooking and am pretty good at it, so lemme know if you ever need help ^_^ oh, and do you know a lot of lolitas around here? my friend and I are doing a twin thing for Matsuri this year and I was just thinking it'd be nice to have a meetup there ^_^
I don't, sadly I am the only one that I know of who is serious about Lolita like I am ^-^; I mean my friend Sabrina would do it if she had the outfit, and my friend Nagoshi loves to sew it, and if she makes it she will wear it, but I feel determined teehee~ and yeah? When is Matsuri
Hmmm :/ well, get them to become serious, then ^_^ haha xD and Matsuri is the 27th and 28th (I think) of Februrary ^_^ it's always a lot of fun <3 they have tours of the Rokouen and such for free, cosplay contests, karaoke, taiko, martial arts, all sorts of vendors and food...it's awesome ^_^ <3 best thing becides the ren faire to ever happen to Arizona, I think ^______^

Yes and he's my lovely boy that I always wanted~ I am getting a girl to match him(because as much as I wish to cross-dress him, a grl would look so much better in Lolita) I shall dress him in male-type lolita though teehee
