the last emperor - 3/5 the first hald was okay, the second half I didn't like much at all....
the painted veil - 3/5 I couldn't relate to the characters so I wasn't very moved by this drama..
Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran - 3/5 Interesting indeed. I wasn't too fond of the boy, but I really like Ibrahim. The ending was somewhat diappointing though..
the prince of Egypt - 3/5 it's a nice animated version of the tale from the bible. I'm more interested in the portray if the Farao and his kingdom than the whole hebrew God thing.. my bad.
the breakfast club - 3/5 I didn't dislike it, I didn't like. But I was quite bored. I would probably appreciate this if I was younger and could relate to these characters.

the three musketeers - 2/5
Disapointing. So predictable I was bored within a few minutes. My snacks were way more interesting. I actually never think I've been so bored by a action movie. And the OST was terrible.
The only things I liked was: * a redicolusly young king and queen. original and interesting. * the kings costumes. awesome. * the movie was quite short. not too much time wasted.

Really, the new one? I rather liked it myself. More as a movie in general than a 3 musketeers work. Well, it did go on more as an a modern action movie than the older ones, after all.... LoL. The took a bit too much creative license with some things (but my steampunk side liked the idea of airships--just not in the 3 musketeers). I liked the characters and outfits a lot too. But Milady DeWinter got too much screen time, and that was so pointless, like she was a "superspy" or something.....wasn´t that actress like the director´s/screenwriter´s wife or something like that?

I didn't get why they called it "the three musketeers" at all, the movie wasn't about the musketeers, the movie was about the kid who wanted to be a musketeer.... -.- The musketeers themselves were just supporting roles in this movie... I though the whole idea was stupid.. Yeah, I didn't like de Winter either... I never liked her as an actress either (5th element ruined me -.-) and it just annoyes me every time when somebody "dies" that you absolutely 100% knows they will come back alive for some annoying reason. I'm so sick of the incredibly lame and unoriginal plots -.- Can't belive 10 years ago that actually used to be a twist, today it would be a lot more surprising if the characters didn't come back to life for a change. It was rather interesting to see orlando bloom as a bad guy though.

vera drake - 4/5 English drama. I was surprised I actually liked this movie. I 'm not usually very fond of brittish movies. But this was really good, and Vera was very sweet and kind.
awakenings - 4/5 very touching, and based on a true story as well.
hanyo (the housemaid) - 4/5 Korean drama. I love how i can never figure out the ending in korean movies. This one left me absolutely chocked and speechless. And I really like how the relationships was portrayed.

puss in boots - 4/5
the usual "betrayal act" is quite tiresome since it's seen too much in movies, however the animations were enough to keep me watching. And Puss is very charismatic :)
