I have a really vague memory somwhere deep down that you shouldn't use beauty products with alcohol in them. Is that a right or incorrect memory?
You see, today I noticed my hand cream has alcohol in it, and doesn't it seem ironic that the product itself is to cure dry hands when alcohol is know to dry out everything?
Should I keep using it or get a new one?

That is ironic. o_o; Did it help your hands anyway? If not, then get a new one. If it works, might as well keep using it, I think; after all, it won't hurt you in the long run if it's working now. Though hand cream with alcohol in it is counter-intuitive to me as well, lol. Hmm.

Hm, I really have no idea about that.....but there are hand creams for different types of skins; maybe that one was for people with a greasy skin type? Like, people who need to moisturize their skin, but remove oils with that alcohol? it´s the only thing that makes sense to me.....
If you don´t feel like your skin is drying out, though, I dont´think it would be bad for you....after all, these kinds of products are always tested.

There are so many types of alcohols out there; I'm sure that some of them are extremely harmful. uvu Unfortunately, I can't help you much, since I haven't done much research on this either. uvu

Actually my gran whose knowledge of skin care knows no bounds, told me that if you have dry/sensitive skin you should never use products with alcohol in them. It can irritate your skin and make you comes out in dry patches.

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano 'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb' I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji Around the block I walked, and walked, pretending you were with me...
