Ok, so I'm now brunette, and I no longer feel comfortable in my old makeup.. I was thinking maybe i need to incorporate more brown and beige tones in my makeup to make it work better?

I have these palettes. Plenty of beige and brown tones I've never used...

If you have any suggestions of suitable tutorials, please share. I don't know so much about makeup :/

Also, do you think I should use a dark brown pen for my lower lashline rather than a black one? And what should i do about my eyebrows? They're dark blonde.... -.-

Well, I can't help much with your makeup because I don't do natural looks with browns and beiges and stuff, but I have a suggestion about your eyebrows. There are a lot of people who's haircolor naturally doesn't match their eyebrows, but if you want to make them match I suggest filling them in with a brown pencil that matches your haircolor and then going over them with a brown eyeshadow of the same/similar shade. I use this method to make my eyebrows all kinds of different colors (like blue and white and purple and pink) so it'll work for natural colors too. :) Hope that helped!

Go to your closest H&M store. They have a very good eyebrow shadow, two tones, and you can mix them if you need to. That's what I use, I don't like using a pencil, on me it looks too sharp and unnatural.

Don't worry so much about how to make the make-up match your hair, worry about how it matches your eye-colour. ;D Dark brown goes with anything. Mostly, it's actually about you feeling comfortable about what you put on. If you don't like it, it won't look pretty.

What styles do you fancy?
I myself like makeup styles inspired by the 30's. And I use a lot of bronze/copper tones, as well as brown and gold and white. I only use a black eyeliner on my lower lashline when I've used black above. Otherwise, I use a dark brown, and very very little.

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano
'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb'
I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji
Around the block I walked, and walked,
pretending you were with me...

It´s always been a matter of eye color and skin tone for makeup in my case as well. For example, I know that I generally stay away from the reds and darker pinks because they make my skin look like it´s broken out/reddened/ whatever. And some purples look like I´ve gotten punched in the eye. So that´s also a matter of trying out a dash of color on your lids one day, and going through all the colors and seeing which you like best on you. (for example, my mom can´t stand orange-ish eyeshadow. It doesn´t look bad on her, per se, but she hates it).

As for the other colors, I use them pretty varied (:P Yes, I admit that I have light brown hair!! *LoL*).......one of the color combos I like to use best is a darker matte brown on the outer edge of my eye, with a coppery color as the lid color and a beigy-golden tone (it´s beige but with slightly gold sparkles? >.< I have no idea how to express this) for my tear duct area. I think that the three brownish tones that you have in the top eyeshadow (the ones between the pink and the purple) would work quite nicely. Or for a less exaggerated one, the three you have in the bottom tier of the lower right corner eyeshadow thing. >

With your lovely eye color, though, I´d love to see that aqua blue with a light purple shade on your eyes.... _< You´d look so pretty, and your eye color would really stand out, I bet.

Not that I know a lot about makeup either.....I got interested when I first started on MAF and have paid really close attention to all the makeup gurus we have here. :D

@Evig: Thanks for the tip....I´ve been looking for somewhere that sold something for my eyebrows not in pencil shape...but somehow that´s impossible to find in my area....
