Can somebody please explain to me why big respected lolita brands like BABY sometimes makes cosplay?? I just don't get it.

It doesn't look like the original costume anyway and it's just a costume flooded with bows DX The outcome is never a pretty dress "inspired by an anime costume". Rather the other way, take a costume and "lolify" it with some bows. It seems so unprofessionally done in my eyes.

I'm pretty sure no lolita would ever wear it, mixing lolita and cosplay. But i highly doubt a cosplayer would buy it too since it looks like a fail cosplay not accurate anywhere and it's redicolusly expensive since it's brand! (47250¥)

So WHY do they waste energy and money on this??? And WHO would buy it??

It doesn't make sense to me either. From a cosplayer's point of view, you would probably want a costume more accurate to the character. Besides, you could probably make a better costume yourself or find one more accurate for less money. As a lolita, I wouldn't wear it either. I hate this assumption that all lolitas must be in to cosplay as well. For me to buy one of these, the character it is based on would have to be one who wears a lolita style. Anyway, for the same amount of money I could buy lots of other, much nicer lolita clothes.

Yeah, I totally agree, It would totally be a different thing if the recreated lolita clothes from characters who are lolitas! That would probably be a lot more appealing!

because they know some rich idiot would buy it.....they exist...trust me
