So I have had little luck in finding the right foundation for me. However I have heard a lot of good things about mineral make up.

Anoyone here tried it? Do you like it? Please share your opinons! :)

I used a Neutrogena mineral makeup years ago. I tried looking for it, but they apparently don't make it anymore.

I did like the even coverage it gave, and the ease of use. The only downside was how oily it made my skin. The excess oil meant I broke out more.

Since then I've switched to Rice Powder and found it works much better for me. If you don't have oily skin, I don't see why you would have a problem with it.

Well, I have combination skin. It's so stupid bacuse my forehead is dry, my nose is oily and the rest is normal. I always have problems with foundations to stay put on my nose and it drives me nuts :/

I wonder why they stopped make it. Maybe other thought it was bad too amd they didn't sell so much?

I totally don't mean to sound mean in any way, I'm just a little curious. Why would you want foundation or total-covering makeup at all? :(

I mean, are you blotchy, red patches? Achne? From what I can see on your pictures it doesn't look like you've got any bad skin conditions at all. Even if you used tons of make up on your pictures, I still can't see any unevennesses or dry patches or anything. So, unless you photoshopped yourself to oblivion and back, I'd say you don't need much make up.

You look very fair-skinned, like me. If you only get the occational spots, like I do, just go with

Shade Ivory. It's great for palies, like us, and it covers perfectly, and it's always better to cover only 2 milimeters than your whole face, even if you use the mineral make up. At least in my oppinion. xD Then again, not everybody agrees with me, so.. :3

Whichever you chose, I hope it works out fine for you!

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano
'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb'
I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji
Around the block I walked, and walked,
pretending you were with me...

Evig_: i use foundation to even out my skintone. My cheeks and nose are redish and my chin is more of yellowish actually so that's why I want to use foundation. But i don't need anything thick, just fix the skintone a little. Also I'm not as fair as I seem, I use light makeup to fix that :)

I know it's not a mineral based thing, but have you ever tried BB cream to even your tone? I've recently started using it for special occasions and it works wonders on my under eye circles and any breakouts I've got.

yeh, i've tried two bb creams. it's not mineralbased. And i got the same problem as all the other foundations I've tried, it doesn't look natural and it doesn't stay put on my nose :/

I haven't tried it yet myself, but I have heard Jane Iredale has some really good ones for your skin. I read some reviews and am thinking about trying it. (My skin is relativly clean and even toned, however I have lots of dark circles.) I've read it's sold around the world and is good if you have skin that has problems like break-outs and oil.
