Ok so i have pretty bad skin again right now and i was wondering is there anyone on here who USED to get acne break outs but has found something that actually got rid of it or at least helped alot? And also there are alot of online tutorials on how to make this mask and that mask and different pore strips but lets me honest it's rare you just happen to have all the stuff you need at the ready and it can be sometimes expensive to buy it all in preperation so if i'm going to go buy the stuff and try a few i want to know for sure that it's a really good one! i'm sure this will be useful to other girls like me who just happen to break out randomly now and then too because acne is a pain in the A*S! if you know of any other products that really work that are already made and you don't need to do it at home please share that too =3

I've found the brand 'Simple' products really works, the facial wash, blackhead scrub, wipes, toner, moisturiser. Clean+Clear does not work!

Clean+Clear actually works pretty well for me. I guess it depends on one's skin!

I used to use Clean and Clear facewash to clean my pores and prevent
blackheads and such, just like Rozemaiden; it worked for me just fine. I´ve never had much
acne anyhow, though.

I nearly forgot--- for those specific blemishes that pop out when you really don´t want them to (like one in the middle of your forehead on the night before the school dance or something), I use "Garnier Pure active anti-acne roll on". It´s quite effective, you can see noticeable reduction of the pimple within a few hours (on the package it says "within the hour", but I´ve used it overnight all those times so....yeah. I checked 8h later. XD) . :) I´ve only used it three times so far since I bought it (in November), though, because I´m scared it´ll dry out my skin too much. >_< Kinda illogical since you only rub over the pimple, but.....

It really depends on your skin type.... I have very oily skin, but I still have to make sure not to dry my skin out too much or else my skin tries to over compensate and it becomes even OILER. BLEGH. I'm 20 now and my skin is actually starting to clear up. I use Clean and Clear 360 (I think that's what it's called, the one with the scrublet?) It's a little orange bottle. If you have very bad acne (and you aren't allergic to salycilic acid) you're going to want to look for a treatment that has has salycilic acid as the active ingredient (I try and find things that are at LEAST 0.5%-2%)
So my regiment is: Wake up Tall glass of water Wash my face (acne medicine with scrublet to exfoliate and remove dead skin) Pat dry (never rub)
Moisturize (Aveeno oil-free moisturizer spf 15) Wait a bit then apply dermotologist reccomended make-up (Neutrogena works awesome for oily skin, but I use Sephora's anti-shine primer first) Blot my face throughout the day (If I leave it oily I'll break out by the end of the day) Come home Remove make up
Wash face again with acne med and scrublet Moisturize
Eventually you'll find your own regiment that works for you (took me 7 years of hit and misses). As for blackheads, wash my face, dry, use elmer's glue, let it dry, peel it off (it'll open the pores), use a blackhead remover face wash, wash off with COLD water, pat dry, mousturize.

I used to be a regiment addict. I've tried Clean+Clear, Proactiv, Garnier, Nivea, Clinique and a few other products. At the moment I've stopped and my skin is actually really clearing up. I wash my face at night and moisturise it, and that's it. If I get desperate I also use the Garnier Pure active anti-acne roll on. There's also a tube with a gel version that works really well too. It's fantastic for emergencies but I don't use it otherwise. My skin isn't perfect, but it's a lot better than what it was when I used product. Maybe give your skin a month long 'detox' where you just boycott using anything other than moisturiser and give it time to properly repair and stuff. It really helps.
