So basically I got my "Menswear" project today at college. But the long and short of it is, we have to make (we're graded on the pattern cutting and construction) x2 garments and an acessory (hat, clutch, bowtie). Naturally I thought Menswear will be good, because we never do menswear and I was excited to learn something new. I found out that it's actually Womenswear inspired by Menswear, i'm still excited but I do too much womenswear (it's what I want to go into at Uni)..

I have bought an A5 leather bound notebook (I hate working in A5 prefer A4) and I would really love to do a Japanese-styled garments. Or Steampunk and I was wondering if any had any idea's that could possibly help me??

My muse (person designing for) will be either Emma Watson, Kanon Wakeshima or Hayley williams.

I was thinking of doing a tailored jacket with leather elbow patches. A tea-dyed shirt. Golden oversized bowtie, a pair of trousers maybe layered? and a hat with clock pieces like steampunk jewelerry
