Yes i know, i've been told that i should cosplay my favourite character but to be honest my favourite characters are quite plain :l I would like to cosplay something interesting which catches eyes!

Do you have any ideas that could help me? Thank you!

I'm not sure if you're into cosplaying Game characters, but I think you'd make a really great Sakuya Haibara from Fatal Frame 4!! You look a lot like her.

I don't know if you think she's plain or not, but I think she's quite an interesting character that'll certainly catch a lot of people's attention, since, well...she's a ghost.

if it helps, kingdom hearts is always a good one. Or if your going for easy choose a japanese school uniform (in a manga/anime such a furuba)

In the past ive done: Kisa sohma, misa amane, Crimson whirlwind (romeo x juliet), sailor Jupiter.

Upcoming: Lavi bookman jr, aqua (kh) and i'm undecided on the final cosplay xD

Wow, i really like this idea! She's perfect... By plain i ment like conan case closed.. xD

If you list some of your favoite anime series we can help pick some characters  That's how I pick~!
Though sometimes a character will just pop out at me and I'll really want to cosplay her 

Princess Peach !! I saw someone cosplay as her at comic con last last year and she did it really well~

As Twilight Princess Midna and Imp Midna~ it'd be super super cool

I guess if you really wanted to catch people's eye you should grab a handful of friends and do a group cosplay !! Even though the cosplay will be plain nothing beats a GROUP For example, this year I'm going to comic con with my boyfriend, sisters and friends and we're cosplay as the Persona 4 (I'm going as Rise; just bought my wig!! ) And even though its plain cosplay just going as a group brings more of a punch
