Okay let's discuss ero Lolita. My opinion: I think that Lolita is supposed to be cute and innocent. (correct me if I'm wrong) And I just think that ero Lolita/sexy Lolita is destroying the cute and innocent with lolita. Why would you do that? Now let me know what you think about it!

Ingen sörjer när du dör, ingen ska sakna det du gör, ingen vill veta var du köpt tröja. Fast du gjort allt som man ska, du är artig du är glad och du har tränat bort din dumma dialekt.

There's always two sides to a coin. Just as there were, back in the days when the fashion first came out, innocent girls dressed in cute dresses, there were also lingerine and underwear that was made to be attractive. I don't think ero lolita is a good name for the fashion though, I'd probably chosen to name it "burleskei" or something like that.
EDIT: Personally, I love the style. It's awesome. If I had the body for it, I'd dress like that every day!

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano 'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb' I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji Around the block I walked, and walked, pretending you were with me...

Do-chan, I guess so... But actually I don't think it's real Lolita cause it's breaking to many of the rules.

Good to hear you stand up for yourself, showing skin is supposed to be a personal decision, not something to do 'cause someone else wants you to!

I don't like ero lolita, very much either, but I don't see it much so it doesn't bother me *shrug*
My personal main point of lolita fashion is the skirt with the petticoat, so dressing up ero without the skirt kinda lose the "lolita status" in my eyes.

I actually don't mind ero but I think that a lot of people do it wrong or don't seem to really know what ero is. Even though it is sexy, it still needs to have some lolita elements to it. It is definitely the hardest lolita style.

I agree with LunaRain, I think that Ero lolita is one of the hardest styles to get right. Because of the "ero" in it, it´s supposed to be sexy, but because of the "lolita" in it, at´s also suposed to be kinda demure and tasteful.....and that´s hard to get just right. Most people just directly go thinking "ero lolita=lolita in her undergarments", when really, it shouldn´t be like that. That´s the problem, really, with most people who try dressing erololi.
I´d never dress ero lolita myself, just like I´d never dress guro lolita, but I think that other people should be able to try things out, see if it works for them.
Lolita is currently branching into so many substyles and sub-sub-styles precisely because people are experimenting and deviating from the "lolita rules".....which personally (and quoting from a certain movie)... "are not really rules, but more like guidelines." If we followed all the rules alll the time, we´d still be dressing oldschool lolita. We´re obviously not, though, so it´s obvious that we´ve bent the rules and experimented as the years have gone by. I think that the ero lolita style is one of those very experimental substyles.
