Never seen the show, but the dress on the picture is lovely!
I related the title to something totally different! Aah, the nostalgia.

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano
'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb'
I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji
Around the block I walked, and walked,
pretending you were with me...

I haven´t seen many episodes, but isnñ´t it amusing that they slept in separate beds? :P

I like that style, I love the retro feel of it. All our grandmas dressed that way when they were young. I´ve actually asked mine for coord advice (on blouses) for a retro outfit once or twice. Who better to help the authentic feel than someone who lived it when it was first in fashion?

"Rockabillies" like this style too. :D

I love the Rockabilly scene! There's a huge following for that music/subculture in Montreal and a few of my friends were into it. That's how I found it, lol.

If you want 1950's inspired clothing www.pinupgirlclothing.com sells some really cute stuff! It's not cheap though.

I love old fashioned everything! That's how I dress when not in Sweet Loli, Gothic style or Decora!

Pinuplifestyle.com has an amazing directory with all sorts of great clothes in 1920s to 1960s style, in every size and budget. http://www.pinuplifestyle.com/page/the-directory

I'm actually keeping an eye on a seller on tradera.com (swedish ebay sorta), she sells a LOT of 50's clothing, skirts etc. I already bought from her a few times, and I will certainly buy more. They're not only pretty, but comfy too!

I'm more into 40s fashion then 50s because of my interest in WWII but the 50s were very close fashion wise to the 40s, I think, so I'm into 50s fashion too. I see the 40s/50s look as a look to wear when you want to be serious, but that just my opinion.
