Ok so it's almost time for me to start going blonde! first i need to strip it then bleach it then tone and dye BUT i've been told box bleaches are more likely to turn your hair yellowy than mixing up your own with cream peroxide and bleach! so this is where i need your help lovelies! what strength cream peroxide do i need? my hair is quite dry and brittle but not REALLY bad and the colour build up is pretty bad too =/ so i need to know what strength so i can hopefully avoid completely killing my hair but still lift the colour =[ please help! also ebay links to good products would be good! and how much cream peroxide to bleach do i need for the mixture?
Live colour XL is a good one (ice blonde or platium)
Or theres another one in superdrug, in purple/blue/pink boxes with a bleached blonde on the front which has cream + powder inside :)
That is boxed bleach though =/ i've used it before and my hair was NOT happy about it =[ when i say cream peroxide and bleach powder i mean like the ones you buy seperately that hair dressers use i've had that on my hair before and it didn't damage it half as badly as the box bleach did but my mam mixed it for me instead so i'm unsure what strength i need T___T but it's like this stuff
I can ask my daddy for you. He's a hairdresser. Where I'm from you're not able to buy that stuff unless you are a professional.
please please do if you don't mind! also what is the difference between the volume and the percentage? and what one determines the strength? i'm a total n00b when it comes to this T__T but thank you <3 you are a life saver
"Volume" is the strength. I'm not sure what the % is but I'll ask. Can you post a pic of your current hair colour?
It's still the colour it is in my d.p and i'm going like a 'milk tea brown' shade of blonde if i can i'm sure you know of platy dyes already so you'll know the colour i mean =] and thank you soo much!! this saves so much confusion =3
Creme and bleach powder are hard to get a hold of if your not a perfessional... but if you somehow manage to get a hold of it, I suggest Clairal*if my spellings off, sorry:3*
