I read this book yesterday and I must say it's great! Text and picures mixed together in a very interesting book about the styles from Japan. Some of the styles still in full bloom other extinct by time itself.
Very informative reading and lots of fun curiosa with cute illustrations! for example important accessories or how to apply the manba makeup.
You'll find styles here like sukeban, takenokozoku, kogal, gonguro, manba, ogal, kigurumi, hime, lolita, decora and more. Some styles founded back in the late 60s. You'll also recognize the bikergang style shown in the Kamikaze Girls movie.
Yea, anyone can get it. You can even go to a bookstore and order it in so you do not have to pay shipping fees. I bet a public library in your state has it too. You just need to look.
wow... I didn't even know they have this. This is going to be really helpful with my Japanese Fashion learning! I'm excited to get this. Thanks zeruda!
