The most romantic thing I was told was when I woke up next to my boyfriend and worried that I might look... well... ugly, because I just came out of bed and I hadn't done my hair or make-up yet. Then he just smiled at me and told me: "I think you look beautifull even without make-up". This might not seem like a big deal, but to me it was one of the sweetest thing I've heard from him, because my boyfriend isn't really someone who expresses his emotions often and he likes to wear a mask of indiference. So hearing him be so honest made me want to hug him forever!

Nothing will ever top the time when the love of my life said "Will you marry me?". I almost fainted

Umm just recently my bf told me

"Your are so cute"

Another day he said;

"Did I tell you, you are so beautiful, and soft"

and he wrote on a forum online:

That is the most gorgeous rose that has ever shown up in my world.
and
I am hoping for us to have a beautiful relationship together.

(He used my real name though lol)

Mine isn't as awsome as some of you guys, but it did make me go "awww" which i don't do often. XD

 

My bf loves movies. They are his life (after hockey, that is). Whenever I ask him how his week was, it usually involves a trip to blockbuster or Redbox and which movies he got. Anyway, I was texting him one day, and he asked:

 

"Can I tell you a secret?"

Me: "Sure :D"

Him: "Do you remember the day I asked you to be my gf?"

Me: "Yes of course"

Him: "Well when you said yes it made me think of that line in the movie 'Hitch'."

Me: "Which line?"

Him: " 'Life isn't about the moments you breathe, its about the moments that take your breath away'. "

 

Kinda cheesy but I liked it ,,^ ^,,

nothing romantic has ever happened to me lol, but reading these comments has given me hope that love does exist!

Out of all the sweet, lovely things a man can say, the best I ever heared was, Ironicaly, when I was acting like a raving lunatic.

 

I was talking to my boyfriend freaking out and hating myself. I thought he was ganna dump me for being a freak but when i calmed down enough to listen to him he said:

"Dont change at all"

I was speachless ^.^

^.^; Oh my...If there's one thing my boyfriend is a pro at, it's his way with words!
(And yet at other times he can totally blow it with his pervertedness xD♥)
 
I really wish I'd write down some of the stuff he says, because there always so thoughtful and from the heart.

Whether he's telling me how beautiful I am,
or how much I mean to him,
or how much he loves everything about me,
It's always so deep and heart throbbing.

His voice always gets deeper, softer, and he gets this embarrassed look on his face (sometimes a serious one :D ).
I just can't help but melt!...Or burst into tears. ^ ^;

Of course when I do that he gets all panicky and wonders why I'm crying and always gives me the line, "I promised I never wanted to be the one who makes you cry!"

Hehe...He still doesn't understand that crying can be a good thing too. x]

You know, I have been told all of the classic little lines in the past. Even the cheesy pickup lines that everyone laughs about, and tries to not laugh when it actually occurs in their romantic life. I remember the first time one of my friends at that time called me "Q T 3.14". I thought it was the cutest thing ever.

Other than that, I had one guy write me a poem by hand and sent me the letter in the mail. His handwriting was beautiful cursive, and my best friend LOST it. He also dedicated the song "Like a Star" by Corinne Bailey Rae to me, a symbol of his feelings. We didn't get to see each other often, and never saw each other during the time we dated. He called me up about a week before our big first date and broke it off, because people at work were harassing him for dating me, since he was five years older. I later discovered that he was really gay and afraid to come out of the closet. To this day, he's the best boyfriend I have ever had. Too bad he isn't anymore, and never again will be. D:

But, I guess you win and lose some. I also find that simple little things, little actions from some guys, or them noticing my tiniest habits, make me melt. I think that those things speak much louder than some fancy thought-out line. I also love it when they make an effort to come watch me perform. > w <

The guy I'm seeing now would probably never say anything like that, but he notices things I do. (:
