I was going to say, "You look puuuurdy"
But then I thought about it and I remember a time before the guy I like and I were friends...
Well, it wasn't romantic but it was one of the sweetest things I had ever heard.

I was, let's call it, emotionally unstable and unhappy with my physical appearance. We were at a common friend's party, he arrived late, and always seemed to somehow make me laugh. We both walked over the the trampoline with was empty, ignored, and bare of any other people. He slid onto it, I followed after. I bounced for a while then stopped, I laid down and stared at the sky. I live in the country so when I look up, it's millions of stars staring back. Sometimes they even put me in awe. As I stared at the stars, I talked. I spoke of lack of trust, a jumble of mixed up emotions, my lack of self esteem, my hatred towards everything I was.

After a while he stopped bouncing and sat. He stared at me for a moment then smiled, "You are beautiful." He said. Beautiful. Ever since then, I have believed it. I am beautiful- inside and out.

I always forget these things, these things that make me turn around and go, "Thank you." I should thank him later. Then again, I am thanking him everyday when I look at myself and see potential instead of a disaster.
