Ok, One of the funniest things about japan is their creative use and mis use of the english language.   It is rooted in the education system, where they study english grammar, but never study the language... so they know bits of the language without a sense of the language as a whole.  So you have a big mess, sometimes it is funny, others annoying, and sometimes it is very cute. 

Jinglish? Never heard of that. They are not the only ones that are guilty. I have heard some people who are native in English (me included), we use an english sentence and instead of saying cute, we say kawaii to really emphasize how cute something or someone is. ^-^ It is most of us who are trying to learn Japanese, so we do what we can until we can find a way to get further.

The worst part is when western people takes back a borrowed word from japanese and KEEP the accent! :P Like burando for instance :P Omg, I think it's so stupid :P

I find jinglish very cute though.  I think for the eco bag, it sounds fine the way it is, I actually understood it pretty well (but the word kind of reminds me of the recycle bag) very eco-friendly.  Maybe tote bag (to-to) will work too.

Someone I know own a Benz and my Japanese friend was like, oh my god, she has a bentsu. 

You see, Japanese rather is simple to pronounce since they only have 64 sounds, that, as oppose to 106 ~108 for english. makes it difficult for Japanese to pronounce other languages, because they tend to rely their 64 sounds...

as for the eco bag thing idk what that is but i like canvas bags so i say canvas

the girl I met over the holidays finds it very hard to pronounce good morning and hi jack (we were playing a game XD) hi jack = hi jaku XD

That makes sense. I always thought japanese seemed so easy to pronounce. (and it's funny how some americans still fail to remove their accent ^^ I recently saw Lost in Translation, lol, saying arigato with american accent ^^)

Maybe the japanese find english difficult because they pronounce two letters as one while we pronounce them one buy one. If they pronounced only one letter it would be like cutting a letter in two. If someone told me to only pronounce half of the letter L i would be confused too :P it's like "ell" chopping of the "ll" and only "e" remaing :P confusing ^^

A little accent is always hard to get away with but that's okay ^^ But when you sound like Brad Pitt's role character in Inglourious Basterds speaking Italian then you better stick to your own language, hahahaha XD

lol, that was a great scene XD I know a little Japanese, and I guess I sound pretty good, because a lot of people think I'm actually japanese, so I can't complain heh heh. I do say Kawaii and baka and all the original stuff, but what I have to laugh at is Americans (especially from the south good God) trying to pronounce foreign words. My grandmother, for instance. "FuhGituz (fajitas) Qwesadilla (quesadilla) and Gud Murgen (Guten Morgen) XD Its so much fun coming home and talking some German to her and listen to her try and pronounce the words. The sad part is...she thinks she sounds good. Brad Pitt looks like a natural compared to her lol
