i've seem some dresses that i might be intrested in buying in the near future

I know in reguar lolita style dresses you wear the petticoat on your waist, but what do you do when the skirt starts under your bust instead of at the waist? do you just pull your petti up yo under your bust? also wouldent that require slightly longer petti?

suggestions?

Maybe you get one of those long pedicoats, like that had in the 40s/50s?The ones that pull up to under your bust?

You don't need a longer petti, it's more to do with the shape of the petti. You will need a mirror to work out where to wear it since everyone is different shapes and heights it varies. I usually wear my pettis in regular lolita dresses just on my hip, a good 6cm below my waist because it prevents a lumpy sort of square looking shilloette and makes a nicer shape.

you can wear a regular a-line petti :) It will keep the shape even tho theres an empty space around your stomach area ^^ (unless it's a dress made of chiffon, then you better pull the pettie up to your bust, haha)

I saw the first dress from brand here, it's soldat taobao price only at around 60USD here. For the petticoat, I wear regularly and because the skirt part of dress like this also has an easy-maintain self stretching style, it will be alright.
