Why do girls go near scales, like ever? How come they're so fixated on a figure, and to compare it against their hight?
Isn't it enough to  just... feel? "Do I feel alright? Y/N?"

I don't own a scale myself, I have no idea what I weight at the moment. It's been more than a year since I checked.
I own a half-length mirror, which can sorta be used for full-length. It's stashed away, I only use it to check out new clothes if I've ordered online. Usually, I only use the bathroom mirror.

Why do girls like to torture themselves? Wouldn't it be better to just... not care so much?
Just be who you are, do what makes you feel good. If you're getting memory loss and trouble thinking, you're probably in trouble, i.e. too thin. As are you if you can't jump anymore, and I'm not talking about "But I don't have any legs ;_;".

I'd like to have seen people 4000 years ago worry about their weight. :S
"By Zeus's cock, I'm too fat for this toga!" Not likely.

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano
'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb'
I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji
Around the block I walked, and walked,
pretending you were with me...

Actually people a long time ago used to worry about being too skinny, so it would be more like

"By Zeus's cock, I'm not fat enough for this toga!"

I find that ^ statement hilarious! Partly because, the only women that wore togas were prostitutes XD

I actually believe women worried about weight back then too, just not as much. Their clothing back then were easier to hide in, but women regardless of time era has always have insecurities about one thing or another about appearence. But who knows. Mainly back then there wasn't enough food to get fat, and if you were fat it usually was cause you were a king and could afford all that food!

Either way, I find the appearence more important than the number. I rarely ever weigh myself but I do time-to-time out of worry that I'm becoming worse? I am scared if I ignore it I might end up losing more weight and then BAM, Hospital time. "y u no eat?" Or something. I care more about gaining weight for the sake of the appearence of my body, and the little things. I can't sit certain ways because but butts to boney! It hurts! I can't lay a certain weight on floors, hurts again. And oooh, I can not at all do push up with my knees on a floor. Used to as a kid, but can't now. (not that I do push up with knees, but I tried once just to see and lolcan't)

I mainly care about weight for health. Healthy appearence, healthy all around, less limitations due to boneiness. It'd also be nice to not want to hide my arms, shoulders, wrists and neck all the time.

I've actually wondered what life would be without mirrors... I feel quite comfortable with removing my mirrors (exept for the bathroom one of course). I actually feel i care less with less mirrors around me. Mirrors have too much inpact on peoples lives.

I weigh myself like one a year. I don't think it's very neccessery to care about the weight as long as the kilos are in the right place it can still look good, haha. But i do measure myself sometimes when i buy clothes online so i somehow keep an eye on my size anyway I guess. If i gain two kilos or lose two kilos doesn't bother me very much, I'm usually stable in weigh and don't have to focus too much on it.

In general, I avoid scales (With the exception of doctor's appoinments and the fitness test I have to take every 6 months). I really don't care what I weigh, I'm tall and curvy so, I weight a bit more than the average girl.

But, for some reason recently my boss's boss seems to think that I'm "unprofessionally over weight". And he's been hounding me about it, embarassing me infront of my supervisor, telling me I'm fat and need to do something about it, yelling at me during working out sessions telling me to run faster so I can burn the fat off, etc.

Its not like I wear some sexy uniform to work, I wear men's clothes and work boots.

Thats what I think it is, most girls would be perfectly happy with who they are big or small if the rest of the world would keep their d@mn opnions of what women should look like to themselves.

Woah, what is up with your boss's boss.  I don't know, but that sounds like harassment!

How rude... Sorry to hear you have someone so on your case.

Thanks, he gets replaced in about 6 more months, I think he's trying to make some great change that he will be remembered for when he leaves. He's got another girl so worked up, she's afraid to eat at work anymore.

My problem with wieght is that I don't weigh enough...I am like 5 pounds underweight...and you can tell. My ribcage shows and everything. I can't seem to gain any, but I seem to be able to loose it. Any solutions?

Listening isn't a skill that comes naturally. It's learned. Hearing on the other hand is natural. You can hear someone, but are you really listening to them?

Maybe try to build muscle? Go for nice long walks, run, lift weights, some sort of exercise you would enjoy? Its part of the reason I'm as heavy as I am.
