Sorry to be a bit self-centered with this topic. Just the whole "Tell us about your lifestyle. What school do you go to? Where do you work? What are your aspirations in life? Just anything about your life." Description to this forum made me want to. Most the threads here are "What is___ for you?" and everything, but I kinda wanted to straight up talk about lifestyle and day-to-day living and routines. Everyone, anyone can join in and write about how their life is. (In case you thought this was a "read all about Lumii" thread)

Hope to see about other peoples life-styles and such.

Ps: sorry if this has been made before? I hope it hasn't...

Um... I'll start I suppose. I wanted to include it in the intro post but I felt it'd be to much of a wall of text to make this thread friendly. Hopefully double posting like this is forgiveable.

My life is pretty empty and uneventful. I'm a 17 year old girl who litteral just gets out of bed and takes three steps to sit in her computer chair. Then sits there all day... I'm a hikikomori, Shut in and I'm trying to fight that for the sake of a future. I dropped out of school in my second year of middle school and jumped from years in "home school" to online school, to alternative high school. I stopped going to my alternative high school a while back, and had the plans to get my GED for months now. Still not making progress on it though... My day-to-day life really does include moving from bed to computer, to bathroom and/or kitchen then back to bed and repeat. Evidently my room is connected to the bathroom AND the kitchen. (handy two doors) so really, it is ideal for my type. Which does no good to not promote it. I'm highly under-weight and sickly too. ( I could go on forever about that, so I won't.) I used to neglect showering but I got the hang of that routine again. I have some issues with my skin and such so it really kills my confidence. Main reason I'm shut in my room all the time...either way. I draw! Um.. I want to become an artist, and enjoy writing and other forms of art too. I am only really 'good' with drawing though, and even there I'm rusty. I have split personality and some mental and emotional issues so it kinda figures I got where I am now...

I really hope to get my GED next year (in the start of it) and move in hopes of tearing myself out of this negative life style... then start work on college classes to get my AA degree, then transfer to an art school. I have many things I want to learn but have no money, so I hope to come into money to be able to learn those things... and to one day be an artist that writes on the side with a little shop online with hand-made things. Also to make a dress-up site like poupee. Would be a dream to be able to do such...

Tl;dr : I have a very bad shut-in life style, and lots of issues and problems but want to fix them and have a happy life. Hahahahaha.

Lumiina, you should sell your art at a craft fair! Especially if you make a attempt to let people know you're trying to get money to go to a art college. Many artist themselves go to craft fairs, and would be incredibly please to be able to buy nice art work, while supporting a artist themselves!

Aww, You should have left it up. Sometimes it's good to be honest openly, even if it's really depressing or bad.  I would have gone into some pretty bad details myself if I didn't already have an issue with making super long posts.

Oooh, You have apoint! Though, I draw anime so no one here really cares for such... My little town is only ~ starting ~ to learn about anime really, so everyone would be like "lolwhatisthis?" if I put up a stall.

Small towns do make it harder....
I live in a realivily large town.
And if I felt craft fairs here weren't good enough, I'd just head to seattle.
Are their any towns near by you could head out to?
Travelings a good way to get better know, and experience things.
if not, ebay, esty, craiglist, you name it can help: 3.
I hope your able to get your GED and go to Art school~~

I live in spokane, I used to live in seattle... was raised there for 8 years and really miss it.. I could go their and try making a booth at sakura-con or something but I don't have the nerve to do that yet. Maybe in a years time, when I get myself more on track, improve some more in art, and have that GED.  I do plan to open commissions and things once I get my routines fixed. But it's kinda hard getting your foot in the door with online-sales unless you have a large amount of people knowing you.

I just gotta stop being scared of making friends. ;;;

Kinda my attempt with MAF.
