I am a fattie and there is TWO things I WANT to do but never have time to- Witch of the Waste and Ursula. Because they are both fat, she will probably be insulted and slap you... and or me. Then again, she might be okay with her weight and not get mad. If someone told me to cosplay Witch of the Waste I would be all, "OKAY! LET'S GO!"

I was told I couldnt do certain cosplays I wish to do because I am WAY too thin(trust me, its possible) but because of my size I am perfect to do Roxas from KH. Its something people need to understand, nobody will say anything usually, but its more fun if you wear a cosplay perfectly with your shape and size :) I think it does need to be done carefully though if you wish to tell her this.

I agree with MaandaaRaae, Ursula from Little Mermaid, would be awesome. It would also be kind of fun and pretty to be a plump geisha. Or depending on cup size, I'd strap down and go as Choji from Naruto...if I was fluffy, anyway... I'm not exactly overweight but I'm no twig either, which sticks me with burlesque women cosplay that have big boobs ;A; ugh. So I can never find most of the costumes I want to cosplay either. I wanted a Witchblade costume SO bad...can't find somebody to make that either. >_> If I lost Fifty pounds it would be easier. I used to be a twig... I miss those days, you're lucky.

Is she interested in kimono? Kimono/yukata and obi can be bought or made cheaply, and they suit any body shape. You don't even have to worry about the obi tie, because you can make or buy a pre-tied one. All she'll need then is make-up and a pretty hair accessory, and she'll look great!

Also, well, there is another Amulet cosplay that might suit her body type better than Spade. The green one, Clover I believe it was called. It has a naturally poofy skirt, which disguises your body shape a bit, and is not revealing at all. That sort of outfit would probably suit her better than Amulet Spade, which requires your to show much more leg and a bit of stomach, you know? The poofiness, a part of the costume, is an asset in this case and also having some nice large hips would definitely make the outfit´s shape easier to manage. ^.^ Though the kimono idea is great as well, because kimonos seem to suit any sort of body type, don´t they? :)

You don't necessarily have to have her change the cosplay all together, I have a friend that is bigger, all she did was slightly alter the costume to suit her, maybe add a little bit of fabric to cover something she's self-conscious about.
