I only have one because they are rather pricey. But funny enough I got mine at Hot topic for half price~ I wanted to buy two, well I REALLY wanted to buy 5 (and my boyfriend would have paid for them all too) but I knew better, I only wear one petticoat at a time right? I do want one that is a little bit longer, but its actually a pretty modest petticoat :)

I also saw some petticoats for sale at a convention I went to a couple months ago. But like I said, pricey and you only wear one at a time, plus they're usually invisible to the public eye(unless you like it poking out)

I got three.

1 big - I use it all the time. It's an old vintage petti I found on Ebay. It's gorgeous! It's really poofy and wight almost nothing!

1 small and short - I almost never use it, but sometimes i need to change the shape of an A-line skirt, then this one is great to wear over another petti too poof out some extra around the hip. Bought this from LingLam (Ebay)

And 1 thin tulle with lace trim - I use this when i think a skirt is too short, I let it show under the skirt because the lace is so pretty. I can't use it for poof tho so i still need to use another petti together with it. Bought this at Momo's (ebay)

I have about 3 pettis too.

Red/pink (ACDC from harajuku):  its made from chiffon, very soft but not as poof $30

Bodyline A-line petti: good for any skirts Medium poof $11

Rakuen Petti:  small petty but really pouffy $22

I usually combine Bodyline + rakuen pettis together.

Well, I only have two. Both are hand made by my friend who has her own shop here in the Philippines. One is hot pink but has lost its poof, but is still rather poofy though! And I have a new white one. No pictures though. XD

@tea_princess

if you're in the market for a petti this tread might give you some ideas :)

http://www.myasianfashion.com/forums/display_topic/id_416/Petticoats/

(the pastel petti i found can be ordered custom made in any color or length. The next petti I will buy will a one just like that, a little shorter tho :))

Sure pettis can be expensive, but you'll wear it every time you wear lolita so it's really worth the money. The petti makes the outfit :)

I own- none. Well, actually, I own one but it doesn't count, it does nothing. It's two layers of tulle and lace, it's just pretty. That's all. xDDD
I am making one//soon to be making one.

Oh, tulle is hard. The skirt is perfect in the beginning but it soon gets soft :( So I guess you have to add more and more layers as time goes. Don't know how much you need tho. I guess it depends what style you want for the skirt. The more the better i guess :P I also notice tulle is very warm to carry. I'm actually freezing in my new poofy petti :P
