I would like to know what your parents think about meetups?

I told my mom today that I was planning a meetup and her anxiety-stricten self freaked out on me, saying I'ts dangerous to meet up with strangers, even though I'll be doing it in a Completely public place (not like i'm going to their house) I told her we are having a picnic and then she said they would poison the food....(I'm still going through with it though)

My mom assumed it was some creepy old guy that stalked this website looking for cute little lolita girls to kidnap and so she insisted I come with. Then she wouldn't let me each the snackies my girlies made  Now that I'm 18, she doesnt have a say, but I assured her that I'm very careful about these kinds of things and MAF is very safe.

By the end though, she was assured that everything was fine 

My mum is quite OK with it but there's always doubt with mothers xD She trusts me enough to go to London on my own as I went to do a photo shoot and met up with someone I had met on Facebook. Turned out she was bloody amazing as were her four other friends and now I'm good friends with one of them xD

Even so, I think she knows that there's a risk of travelling so far, especially somewhere like London on my own.
