I've used sparkeling blonde, my hair was the same as the second picture on the back and went the same colour as on the front of the box.

If the hair goes green it is because of copper fragments. It could be in the water, if the pipes are made of copper, but it could also be if the ginger dye contained real copper fragments.
Always look at what the dye contains, and if you know your house has copper pipes, don't use warm water. Prefferably go to a house with plastic pipes. :3
Blahrgedit: It could, of course, also be a chemical reaction between the bleeching whatever in the blonde dye, and the water and the ginger dye, but that's too much for my brain right now. I'm omw to work. x_x

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano 'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb' I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji Around the block I walked, and walked, pretending you were with me...

Palty is no different then any other dye, western ones or asian.
The problem is, people don't understand that the colour you have BEFORE is more important to the result then the dye.
My rule of thumb is NEVER try to lighten your hair with boxed dye unless you want fried hair. I've tried over 12 brands asian and western and they all turned out the same. It's the cheap bleach, cause they can't sell the real stuff to normal people... well unless you buy in mongolia haha.
I've used the sparkling blonde and a few others. As long as you are going darker then your current colour you'll be fine.
My daddy is a hairdresser so I'm lucky not to have to use these things to go blonde. I've seen some video about girls using boxed dye to go lighter but when I have seen the quality of their hair it's always quite bad.
Saving to do it in the salon if you wanna go blonde is a lot better.
Plus sparkling blonde is a mix of hard and soft bleach, so it gives different shades of blonde throughout... this can be good, or in my case very bad XD

Ahh i'm hoping to get my hair WHITE before using it so it'll go either the colour on the box or slightly lighter my natural hair colour is on and off the same as milk tea brown so i'm hoping i'll not have to worry about dying my roots all the time if this works =3 and i'd love to go to a salon but i just don't have the cash and won't for a long time =[ i'm running out of patience with it i've already waited 6 months-ish to get my hair into a good enough condition to use colour strippers and bleach on it without completely killing it if i could hold off on buying dye when my roots start showing and the ginger fades i could probably save enough in no time but it just looks so bad T___T i couldn't go out like that i just wish it'd go back to my natural colour!!! and yeah =/ there's lots of western dyes i like but non of them seem similar enough to my natural colour for it not to be OBV when my roots grow =/ whyyyy did i ever bother dying it?
