i just turn14 and i love dressing in lolita and my friend and family thinks its weird...(i have no lolita friend or friends that dont care i dess like that) some of my family members and most of my friends ask me why i like dressing like that or told me to dont dress like that and im wordering am im too young and why people thinks that its weird.

people think its weird because it's not seen very often. some people will be close minded and think if you dont buy it at a chain mall they consider it to be strange.

you're not too young, it's a very conservative fashion so If i were your parents I would just be glad you're covering everything :p

neko is right, they will think it's weird no matter of age, becsaue the fashion itself is very outstanding. I promise you, even if your 25 (like myself) people will stare and think you're weird. But that never stopped me to wear lolita for 4 years :)

Well, I don't think it's even possible to be "too young" for lolita. I mean, I don't dress it or anything so I'm not an expert, but isn't Lolita based off of little girls' dresses. 

And I'm just going to say that I agree with what Eevee and Zeruda said. No sense in repeating it! XD

I don't think lolita really has an age limit. I know a few lolitas who are 14.

I am sure Lolita has no age requirement. It isn't like, "YOU MUST BE THIS TALL TO WEAR A PETTICOAT."

That's kind of silly, don't you think? 

But really, I think it's silly they think it is weird and want you to stop.

It isn't like you're running around half-nude. In fact, you're covering up practically everything.

You are starting out a bit young for the fashion, but just consider it more time to fine-tune your style. Some people think it's weird, but if lolita really makes you happy, it won't matter.

14 is about the age that I started really getting into punk and gothic styles. No you're not to young to wear lolita, but I think fashion choices get easier as you get older because you become less dependant on parents or whoever to help you buy clothes. To this day my mom is trying to make me dress preppy and I'm 22 years old living on the other side of  the country from her. 

If you like it wear it, its not like you're running around with your boobs and butt hanging out.
