Let's share our hopes, aspirations, and dreams for the future! It can be anything - your dream job, something you want to learn/improve, etcetc.

And, while we are at it, lets set up goals (or, a time period in which you want to achieve that dream) for ourselves, and motivate each other!

Because this is "living life to the fullest", I think it would be nice to share how you plan on achieving your dreams and aspirations as well (feel free to put "I don't know", if you do not). c:

So, what are your hopes, aspirations, and dreams for the future? :'D

I'll start off. :’D

I hope to be an entertainer - mostly a show host, in about seven years (such
a long time, I know!) in China or Taiwan. Understandably, being an entertainer
in China is pretty harsh (the entertainment industry is very tightly knitted),
not to mention that to get into the industry is extremely difficult (mostly
relations based). Taiwan is slightly better, but not by much. The entertainment
industry in China is not as large as Japan’s or Korea’s, so the chances of
success are naturally lower. However, I really do love the feeling of being on
a “stage”, so I hope I can pursue this!

 

Right now, I have an advantage in the fact that I am fluent in English.
Unfortunately, my Chinese is not stellar. So, I hope to improve my Chinese
during these years, by reading more Chinese blogs, Chinese books, and watching
more dramas! I will also be watching more Chinese shows in general, so I can
improve my Chinese while learning from the show hosts! :’D

I also hope to learn Japanese and/or Korean. c: Any websites or books that
help with this are much, much appreciated (if anyone knows a great resource,
please let me know)!

 

In addition to Chinese, I want to improve my singing voice; this can be
achieved by singing more in general, and paying attention to how I sing. c:

 

Seeing as how most of my goals are improvement-based, I don’t think I can
put a deadline, but I think that just by doing a little something every day
will help me improve! :’D

I guess those are my main goals at the moment. c:

Even if you're just starting out, this is an excellent resource for vocabulary, kanji and their stroke orders and sentence structures-you can learn new grammar points from example sentences.

I will admit it's not the best for beginners of the language, but it's pretty handy when you become more advanced.

I'll have to post my life aspirations later, because I too must be off to one of my classes. I have an exam to take .

Ok, My hope is that I can finish High school with good grades and get into a good college, My dream is to find the person that’s meant for me and marry him, my aspiration is to be as kind as I can, no matter how mean the people are to me. A goal I want to complete.......I guess that would have to be to tell him how I feel before he graduates this year ^__^

Idealy I want to be a Translator/interpretor for Japanese. I just love the cutlure, the language, all of it. I just really want to move their and live in that world. I'm going in May to see if that's really truley my goal. I'll need to give up a lot, but I feel like i'm drawn there for a reason.

My dream as a child was always to fall deeply in love, so much so that it hurts. I haven't found that person yet, but I feel them somewhere. For right now I'm happy and do love my boyfriend. Maybe time will tell. I always wanted to be a mother, it was the one dream that stayed with me.

Now that I have a goal and dream job though, suddenly the dream since I was 4 has taken a back seat. I don't see anything wrong with that though, it'll happen if its meant to be.

Oh and the goal I want to complete is the Graduate from ACC this year so I can move to a different school. I really want to take Japanese classes and learn more in depth.
