I wasn't sure where to post this question but...

How can I rip Videos off of a DVD I own to have them on my computer and hopeully put them on my iPod touch?

Any suggested programs (free please)

I haven't ripped a DVD in years, but I found this which might help you :3

Now to put it on an ipod it should be in mp4 format(though it might be different for the touch), but it looks like it gives you the option of which format to rip it.

and yeah they need to be MP4's

Your welcome  if that doesn't work there are lots of sites and free programs that should do that.

My classic needed MP4 too 

I use handbrake, it works really well and it's free.

Hm are you looking just to ripdvd's you already own or do you know online sites?
Handbrake is awesome. Mail me if you want korean or chinese movies and t.v series.
