I stumbled across this and it sounds really cool ^^ im not sure how to explain this other than its basically a role laying game...in real life :D people act out battles and storylines such. I would like to go to, or at least watch one being held.(Im always looking for a way to escape reality :P)

I haven't ever gone to one but I've been invited to plenty, because I  A: play table top RPGs  B: am a girl and C: have a wardrobe quit suitable for LARPing Vampies.

I think it could be alot of fun.... With the right group of people. Most of the LARPs I was invited to were the kind where the guys wanted to hook up "in game". ( Not saying all LARPers are pervs, just the ones I knew).

If you play table top with a group you could always try to take it the one step further and LARP a campaign, see if you like it.

I have to admit that when my friend first started doing it, I was thinking "WTF????" but now I think it is actually very cool! My friend got my husband a LARP dagger designed to look like a dragon tooth for his birthday. He keeps trying to get us involved but I am still a little unsure. It wouldn't surprise me if he gave me a LARP weapon at some point!

I used to RP with a group of friends, and Dean (the guy who started it) always said he wanted to LARP, but we never got the chance. It sounds like wonderful fun to me, but I love nerdy stuff like that. :P

Actually, I larp quite often in summer. (should I be embarrased? I wear a costume...) We play by dnd 3rd gen mixed rules. Usually I'm dungeon master. I wish we were closer so we could play. But if you want me to teach you some rules I could for sure~
