I've worn Decora to school before. People always stare and snicker, it's so rude! Lots of people laugh too! But whatever if people want to be ignorant that's their loss! My friends are generally surprised if I wear something normal/plain XD which is just fine with me! ^.^ I love wearing Decora and do not see myself stopping anytime soon despite living in an area with a major "small town" mentality!

Children want to hug me and take pictures of me when I wear my pikachu kigurumi lol luckily I love kids so it's hard to say no :)

I was dressing decora on weekends and events from about 2004(or maybe even 03...) until about 2009. So I was doing it for a long time. When I started, the bright 90's-style colors were still very popular, therefore I was wearing a lot of colors and lots of Pokemon/ETC related accessories. Then the more pink/read/white/black scheme grew in popularity, and so I eventually took up that color scheme. And then near the end of me dressing decora, pastel colors became very popular. Then, eventually, I switched over to Fairy Kei and sold off/gave away MOST of my decora accessories and clothing. I still have some pieces that I can either still use or can't bare to let go of.

How was my experience? Pretty good, actually. Most people thought that it was cute. ^___^ I only got made fun of only a small number of time. It was very fun.
