You can also try out more "glamorous" makeup from missha (another popular korean brand), which luckily has it's own US site!

You have to sign up for their emails to get notices about that though~ I love missha as well, but even thought they aren't as cutesy as etude house or lioele. 

For makeup I absolutely love MAC..  The eyeshadow colors are always so bright. <3  For hairdye my favorite is Special Effects..  But that's not sold in stores anywhere near me anymore.  So Raw is my new dye.  Splat didn't last in my hair at all either. 

Hair dye... I've tried color fiend, but it washed out super quick. It wasn't even that bold when I put it in. =/ I usually just get my hair done at a salon, since it stays in longer.

As for makeup, I just get Sephora brand. =] It's a bit cheaper than most brands, but still works really well. Plus there's a Sephora across the street from my apartment building. ^.^
