hey i have a question...when i try to line my top lid, there seems to be a space between the liner and my lashes which is bare and noticeable...my question is...how do i get the liner right up against the lashes?

i usually have to do the initial line first...then go back in and color the space between, or if im lazy i just leave it, because when i put mascara it hides the bare line anyways :P

I have the same problem too. I usually use a pencil eyeliner and just fill in the areas but pushing the pencil liner right into my eyelashes. 

I find it's a lot easier to avoid the gap problem by using a gel liner or lining with a brush instead of a typial liquid liner or pencil.

i get the same problem even if i use gel...but i'll try to brush it into my lashes and see if that works

I usually just brush back and forth till it's all covered.

yet another eye liner question....is there a way to keep my eyes from watering while putting liner on my waterline?

It's just something you have to get used to doing, I think. My eyes used to water relentlessly when I first started doing it. 

If you're using a pencil liner, you can use a brush to smudge the line a little so the space between your lashes and liner doesn't show.

I have this too. I use a liquid one, and do the initial line first, then I put a fingertip in the corner of my eye and stretch the eye outwards and use the tip to sorta... dab to fill in the gap. It takes like ten minutes, but it looks better in the end.

I got so tired of it I stopped using eyeliner daily years ago. Today I do it at extremely rare occations, and I still hate doing it! ;(
