I want to sew a lolita dress because i just designed one for myself...but dont know how to make patterns...i know gosurori has great pattern, but how to make my own pattern? i also know someone want to learn how to make her own lolita pattern too, so post here to try to help her....she is at plus plus size and i m at medium i think, but i try japanese pattern- medium is too small for me :(

so 1) how to customized the gosurori pattern into own size?
    2) how to make own pattern?

thanks a lot in advance,
wini

how i wish i knew how to answer this question.  i haven't sewn any of my loli dresses at all, but if i did i would probably buy a gosurori and get their patters from there.  i found a link for great patterns somewhere on the internet , if i find it again i will post it here.

how to alternate a pattern to best fit

on other forum saying how to:

"You want to start by drawing evenly spaced vertical lines through thepattern. Do about 4, but the more you do, the more accurate the patternwill be. Cut the pattern on those lines and then evenly spread thepieces apart horizontally until you achieve the width measurement youneed. Tape all the pieces down onto paper, and then use rulers/frenchcurves to fill in the gaps. Then do the same process horizontally toachieve the height measurement you need. That's a start. If you need toadd/decrease some areas (i.e. larger bust) just bump the outer edge outa little."

here's the website I used called momspatterns to find patterns. I haven't used them(the patterns I bought) yet. But they are all in great condition!! and the designs are absolutely gorgeous!!
Why be ordinary when you can be KAWAII!!!?

I actually don't use patterns.... :x

However I do follow a strict tutorial but loosely such that I can tweak it how I would like. Sorry I know that's not really help T_T
