Look up Venus Angelic on Youtube. Her videos creep me out, especially her forced "Kawaii Japanese Desu" accent. In one video she lays an egg. I would post the video, but I don't know if I can cope with seeing it again 

I saw some of her videos, and I have to say that I'm actually quite offended by her accent and the way she presents herself. Japanese people do not speak like that, nor do they hold themselves like that in public; ever. Japanese are normal people who speak NORMALLY (just to emphasis that point), and her Japanese accent is so strange. It's like she's trying to emphasis a part of Japanese culture that isn't as big as most people think it is. The seiyuu voice is the thing that gets me about her, and I worry that, if and when she comes to Japan, she'll be ostricized for it; because many Japanese will stare at you strangely if you constantly speak like that.

I think it's her Tsunami video that really sort of hit a nerve. She was worried about her luggage, and she's acting all cute about the whole situation regarding such<--which makes me wonder what that had to do with the tsunami to begin with. Personally, I have family up in that reigion (they're fine, by the way) but what's more is that we know people who were lost to the Tsunami, so having some girl act like that regarding the Tsunami tragedy is a blatant slap to me and my family; though, she probably didn't mean it to be like that. Actually, let me rephrase that, it's a slap to Japan as a whole.

And another thing, she tries to make herself look Japanese, but Japanese do not really look like that at all...(The Japanese don't all look like Ayumi Hamasaki)

I have a feeling that she's never even been to Japan before...judging by the way she acts. It seems like she spends more time going off of  what Japanese main-stream meadia potrays(e.g. television dramas, magazines, anime, etc..), when in fact, doesn't make up for the larger part of a great culture.

I know Japanese tend to be very low-key about presenting their frustrations directly, but I feel as though I needed to. Sorry for all of my ranting...

I really like this song because its rhythm is so upbeat, but the video is defintely WTF. (Kyari´s PonPonPon song).

the sad part is I accually was genuinely interested in one of her hair turotirals...but I couldent watch it because her fake accent was making me angry... but she looks asian so im not sure if shes straining to make her accent more noticable or if shes just completely making it up...whenever i start to hear an accent come out of my mouth(unnintentionally...i pick up on habbits like im coverd in glue -.-) i freak out haha, B/c i know some people try so so hard to get rid of them.
