Hi!

I'm doing nail art as part of my profession and I'm wondering how many of you use nail tips or do there nail art themself?

I heared so often people saying they can deal with long nail and that their affraid of using UV gel, and moreover that they cant have nail art because of their job. What do you think about that?

I paint my nails myself....and enjoy drawing designs on them, adding shiny stones (sometimes). I´ve never tried things like adding lace or other things like chains or whatever to my nails though.

Whenever I go get a manicure at my favorite salon, I usually go get a regular French one, because I like its simplicity, and how it looks perfect without having to do anything myself. I don´t use nail tips or false nails at all, because I´m happy with the usual length of my nails. Since my nail beds are quite long, it looks like I have long nails even when I don´t, not really.

I do nail art sometimes. I mostly just paint designs on now or use pre-made stickers. At some point I want to buy some acrylic powder and 3D molds.

I just order a kit for acrylic nail and 3D mold by 3Dnail, I found really offordable price on Etsy and ebay.

Here is my first nail art with acrylique 3D part handmade by myself. I used it in a really glamorous nail art theme, inspired from angel with Swarovsky cristal, glitter and white and blue feathers.

I love pretty nails. Women with nice feminine hands and nails with a few millimeters white tip, it's adoreable (not a fan of long skanky nails, sorry). I myself can't have it though.

For one, my hands are not feminine at all.  Just a picture of them and nothing else could easily pass for a teenage guy's hands.
My line of work has also been hard on them - I clean stairwells. Besides them being dried out and beaten up by all the chems, my reumatic genes starts to show, my fingers are becoming crooked and aged, and you can tell they've worked hard.
And the shape of my nails is just... weird as f. Almost circular, and I
have to save over ½ a cm tip to make them grow over the tip of my
finger.

The 12th of January is my last day though, so after that I'm going to try to care more for them.

If I could, I totally would do a lot more with my nails. It'd be so much fun to buy a kit and try out at home.
