Share photos of things you're in the process of making.

I'm making a lolita Pikachu gijinka. I made the ears and attached them to a rectangle headdress. I was planning to add lace to it but now I'm not sure I should.

Wearing it.

Ahh!! That headress is really cute!  I looks good without lace you could always hunt down some yellow lace that's thin and put a bit around the edges if you really want it.

Now onto my next project, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. I'm a Kansan so I should pay homage to the most famous fictional Kansan.

Here's the shoes. The left is done while the right it how it was originally.

I kind of forgot about this thread but I have a lot of photos to share. I mentioned earlier I was working on Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, I put that aside for a short time. I needed to finish American McGee's Alice first. I'm in a 3D art class right now and our final project is free choice. I decided to make the hobby horse from the game. I wanted this costume to be done for when I present it. Now the costume is done and here's the progress photos I took.

The basic structure of the dress and apron. This was before I put the zipper in. I also shortened the skirt as it was way too long.

The apron finished. I tried to use iron-on transfers for the symbols but it didn't work. I ended up drawing them on with fabric paint. The "blood" is also fabric paint. I did a test run of fake blood but it dries on brown (which is sort of cool as real blood does that) but I wanted it to be red.

Close-up of Eris symbol.

Close-up of Jupiter symbol.

I molded the skull out of Fimo clay and then painted it. I attached a pin back using Gorilla Glue and pin it to the bow. The bow itself has a pin back to attach it to the waistband. The waistband pieces are held together with velcro.

This is kinda cool......I´ve also done this cosplay! I should probably post pictures of it, huh? What I did was, instead of fabric paint for the designs, I cut the symbols out of black cloth and zigzag-stitched it to the apron. ^_^  It has a neater finish, somehow. Yours look good with fabric paint, though.
