This is quite a personal topic for me, but I hope to find others in similar situations, who perhaps want to achieve similar things. This thread should be positive and about achieving this goal!

For the last year I've been pretty miserable, I could go on about that but we've all been there.
I stopped doing anything, lost the motivation to even try. I also started eating a heck of a lot of my favourite foods (the worst foods I could eat!) to keep myself happy.


Naturally, it's all caught up with me now.

I can't fit into my dresses anymore, and the ones that do fit squeeze me tight in awfully unflattering ways. This must sound familiar to someone else out there, right?

Rather than buying new clothes, I want to get back into shape.
Not only back into shape physically, but I want to enjoy life again like I used to, and stop this from ever happening again.


Winter is possibly the hardest time to do this, but for the same reason probably the most important time to try!
Many many people suffer form seasonal effected disorder, including myself, where the cold, dark winter months just make you feel down...


Well I'm not going to let that stop me!
I won't let the cold months, or anything else, bring me down!
I'm going to fix the things that being down caused, like my gained weight!



So I'm going to update this thread with my progress, and I encourage other people with stories like mine, or even anyone who just wants to improve their quality of life, to join in!


Let's encourage each other with our quests for a happier, healthier lifestyle!

To combat SAD, you could start Vitamin D supplements. Since we see so little sunlight during the winter months our Vitamin D levels drop significantly which can cause depression and tiredness.

How great, I've been working with this myself, and I do also have a hard time during the winter, since it's dark here in norway almoust all the time in three months :(
