To me music is a huge part of my life, that´s the reason i always walk around with my headphones or earphones, i just can´t stand a day without music. I use to say that music gives life color :3 like your own soundtrack wich adds some more color to it all. I usally listen to songs i can relate to and right now my favourite song is Mozaik Role (feat. GUMI).

So my question to you is what is music to you and do you have a fav song? ^^

I rerely listen to music. I belive music makes you unable to hear :)

I used to live a life with earphones as well, but I realize now I was unable to truly live. I was unable to express the real me (I could only express what the music wanted me to express) And i was unable to hear, I was deaf to the real world. Even when you shut off the music, you still have it in your head, there is not a second of rest, not even when asleep.

I thought the music made me free, I felt free. But now I know, the music limited me. I was living in a bubble. But i guess that's why people likes music so much. They feel safe. They feel like the world only evolves around them. They feel they are in control. When in fact music enslave them.

People shouldn't be afraid of scilence. They would be surprised what they would actually hear if they could truly listen.

i've always been one who has to have some sort of background noise....unless i'm asleep that is :p...my parents used to say that i was wasting power or batteries when i listened to music while doing homework bc they thought that if i was concentrating on my homework i wasnt listening to the music until i proved them wrong lol....i love music esp really heartfelt ones with strong chords....and i am big on the musical theatre...

at the moment my favorite song is Prague from Damien Rice....he's just so awesome!

i find that music fills in the gaps in my life - if i need to travel somewhere or walk somwhere or escape from a situation music is there! it's like with books, if youre lying in bed thinking too much about your problems and sunk too much into your own drama, you can always watch a movie or read a book or listen to music and you're taken away to somewhere else, into someone elses problems.

Music has really helped me to identify with other people and appreciate other forms of creation other than those i was already familiar with

My favorite band is probably Brand New - their music has definately enriched my life - their lyrics have really made me think differently about the world around me. Despite this my favorite song is probably Between the Wars by Billy Bragg, it's probably the first song i ever remember hearing. my parents played me a lot of music when i was a small child( the beatles, bob dylan, billy bragg, the smiths) and i think that definately affected the way i feel about music now and how i feel about it's cultural meaning/significance

Music is important to me. I love the way I can change moods and my outlook on life just by listening to a different song. It's also a big way that I express myself (I play piano, cello and ukulele), and I'd go crazy if I couldn't. It's just a big mystical language that I love being a part of. I'm not one of those people who is always listening to music though. A lot of the time I'll just get sick of hearing anything and need absolute silence, thus I CAN survive for about a week without my iPod. I love music, but sometimes I just reach that point where I go insane if I have to listen to any more.

Don't have a favourite song at the moment, but right now I'm LOVING Ed Sheeran's album "+"

Music significantly influences my art, so it's very important to me.
Every character or story I create ends up with an album or two connected deeply to it, and so I play those albums when I want an inspirational boost to work on those particular characters/stories.

I've started listening to music on my headphones again whilst walking up to University, because I find that's the best time to come up with ideas.
Also the entire jounrey is next to a busy road so its music or cars to listen to...

Then there's also that I want to be an idol, so learning and discovering songs I like, and practicing singing with them is a must!

My favourite song changes every 5 minutes, right now Sphere's let.me.do is in my head. A song that to me represents my awesome time in Japan this year~

Music is important to me, its probaly what keeps me sane. Its a wonderful outlet for my emotions happy, sad, angry, etc. 

Music motivates me to work, when I lived at home, I'd clean my Dad's entire house before I realized it because I had a good CD on. 

Music makes me exercise better, cardio and weights, it makes me more determined to meet my goals.

But, mainly I love music because I don't like silence if I'm alone.

Hmmm....I'm quite ecletic but, if I had to pick a favorite song right now I think it is  "Feed the Machine" by Red 

I believe that music is very important. It makes me happy when I feel down sometimes, or it could make me sadder. It depends on the situation.

It does motivate the person to clean, and do work better! At least, it does for me! When I have to clean the house, I like to have music on. It helps me keep in line!

And it would be very diffcult to excercise without music. Silence would make it harder, in fact...

But in fact, sometimes music will give me a terribl headache, depending on the genre.

My favorite song is 鎮魂の歌(tamashizume no uta), it's a ballad by Onmyouza.

oh! i forgot...another reason i love music is, it's my way of worshipping God...i'm not good at praying so i listen to worship songs and it makes me feel closer to Him :)

I really love Bad apple and MaruKaite Chikyuu. My favorite is probably Eternal Snow by Myco though. 

I stopped listening to music a while back. I just don't really have time for it. I find that it distracts me from a lot of what I need to get done. Though I've been trying to write again lately and background music was always great for that. 

I might have to find new tunes to make a playlist.
