I recently came across a Chinese version of the Korean Ulzzang look, and the Japanese Hime Gyaru look (of course, each has its own uniqueness, and this is no exception).
非主流 (feizhuliu), translated, literally means "non-mainstream". It is a fashion choice made by many younger generations in China (most notably the 90ers, or those born in the 1990s). Ironically, this style is becoming more and more mainstream. It is a mix of Ulzzang, Hime, Scene, and a splash of China's own unique style! They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so rather than decribing what the style is like, I will post some pictures instead. C:
