Well, we already have a rather nice "what are you reading"? Thread, but that we´re reading something doesn´t necessarily mean that we´d recommend it.
For example, I´ve recently read "The Girl in the Iron Corset" and, while it´s not a bad book per se, I wouldn´t particularly recommend it.
This thread will be for recommending those books that you absolutely loved and/or have reread many times because you liked it so much.
When you post a title, make sure to include the author and the genre that book could be classified as, so that we can organize ourselves nicely.

Harry Potter, haha, I'm so lame, but really. I love these books. I could read them over and over and over again for the rest of my life. I'm trying to force my siblings into reading these, but I have failed.
Harry Potter (7 books) by J.K Rowling. Fantasy.

I would recommend the book "Pirates!" by Celia Rees and "Vampirates" by Justin Somper. They are (ofc) both about pirates but I think they are the most amazing books ever!

I really like the Dalriada Trilogy by Jules Watson. Historical Fantasy I've only read the first two, but I really enjoyed them. It's basically about a Scottish princess, and exiled Irish prince, and the Roman invasion. There are... naughty scenes, but it's a sweet series. I cried.
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss Fantasy This was unbelievable. He's recently released the second in the chronicles called Wise Man's Fear but I'm yet to read it. Fantastic piece of work, I think. Takes a bit of a while to get started but the main character is so charismatic and he's quite witty.
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden Historical Novel If you haven't read this, read it. You can't not.
The Hobbit + Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkein, Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis Fantasy I'd question if you've ever read at all if you haven't at least read one of these.
Cloudstreet by Tim Winton Novel This is one of those ones that uses a lot of metaphors for society and everyday people somehow manage to do a lot of deep thinking with confusing thoughts (for me at least). All the same it's a pretty good book.
Of Bees and Mist by Eric Setaiwan Fantasy? It's somewhat of a fairytale I guess It was his debut novel and while some of the writing was a little frustrating (but I'll reserve my frustrations so you don't get put off, cause it's a good book), it's worth the read. I had parts that I kept rereading over and over because I just loved them so much. The lead charachter is such a strong girl it just inspires me to be like her.
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult Novel Cry. Just cry.
