No matter if we love decora, lolita, gyaru or VK it will happen to us all. One day we will grow up and wish for a diffent more adult like style. We need the fashion to be easier and more pratical. The clothes in the adult stores might seen very VERY boring in comparsion to the style we had in our younger days. So is there a way to grow up an attend a more "mature style" without becoming all dull?

Share some inspiration!

Love this flowy dress she's wearing, also stocking instead of kneesocks makes it more adultlike. And the heels really complete the look! I love heels!

I love this outfit! It's so cute yet simple. The colors are playful and happy, but the outfit still seems mature and a lot easier to wear than lolita. She didn't wear a blouse (yay! bouses are a pain to wear!) and cardigans are just so comfortable and easy and you can put it on and take it of as you please whenever you feel hot or chilly! I love the heels shes using. It gives the outfit a much more mature feeling even of the skirt is from Angelic Pretty :)

Love how simple yet classy this outfit is. i can imagine the fabric is very soft and kinda thin and extremly comfortable to wear. Small socks instead of barefoot in heels maintain the cute look even for an adult style. And the chice of hat is adult like too! :)

I love how beige can tone down even the cutest Angelic Pretty skirt! Her chice of cardigan is so classy yet it has some really cute details to avoid becoming dull. Her way of combinig tigs with socks and the very classy shoes is very nice! Love this!

A vintage feeling is a safe card when turning older. The flowy shapes, soft fabrics and flower prints is defenitely complimenting to a adult age. Again, she cutes it up with little socks instead of going barefoot in her heels! And I love hats!

wow! that's very interesting! I have heard of onee gyaru so it makes perfect sense! Many lolitas are growing older and keep the style past 25, so now that i think of it it was problay bound to happen! :D

So very simple yet still beutiful and comfortable. I like how easy this outfits are, they can only take a few minutes to get dressed in the morning. I love how few accessories they use. Just a small thing in the hair for a cute touch. The lace trim on the dress makes the rest with no need to add a lot of accessories and jewelry. And just simple comfortable sandals on their feet!

A cute dress with a cute print doesn't have to be "too much", the fact that she's using black makes this dress very neutral. She also combined it with the very neutral color beige! Both tights, turtleneck sweater and a black cardigan on top of it is perfect for winter!

I think that a lot of this winter´s IW JSKs could work for a more mature style....IW has always been a bit classic.

I like this one; it has print, but it´s a delicate print that isn´t childish and is quite elegant.

Oh, and I´ve also heard of onee-lolita...somewhere.....

Oh, and I also think that a Shirt+skirt+cardigan combination is usually seen as a more "mature" and "blend-in"able than a JSK or dress coord...
