I ordered over $350 of clothes from Bodyline on Sunday night OwO; The E-mailed print-out receipt said I would receive the package in the mail on Wednesday, and I did. Right on time. :) I purchased 2 white panniers/petticoats, 3 blouses, 2 jumpers, 1 skirt, 1 bag, 2 pairs of shoes, and 1 jacket. Quite a bit, if I may say so myself. Being the usually frugal person I am lol. ;)
The clothes were the quality I expected--not high class but a decent grade. One blouse came with a stain on it, but it is small and obscure so I don't mind. Also, one pair of shoes is wayy too big. They obviously didn't take care to check the size they packed since the shipping paper receipt said the right size on it! Hmph. Last resort, I will sell them. They are white, sort of mary-jane shoes, with low heels. The other pair of shoes I ordered fit well enough, and they have been my dream shoes for a few years, since my infatuation with Malice Mizer (Mana-sama's influence, of course).
The clothes fit well. I sincerely can't complain about the fit. For the most part, the clothes are adjustable or stretchy, so it really is a good one-size deal. I don't have any complaints except that shoe size mistake they made because they did not check and because that is blatant since my other shoes in the same ordered size do fit. The oversized ones are probably an 8 or 9 actually judging by eye the way it fit on my foot, but I will take measurements if anyone is interested, of course.
I took advantage of the $20 shipping flat-rate for everything I ordered, which I think is great. It's only in September apparently, and I noticed before that if I ordered a dress without this shipping flat-rate, the shipping would have cost me more than the dress itself. So if you are looking into buying from Bodyline, I suggest you do it as soon as possible to take advantage of that great shipping deal.
One other thing to mention: all prints smell like they are inked fresh off the printer. You have to air the smell out before wearing it--just leave the article out and open in your home for a few minutes or hours, and that is fine. Open printed bags you order to air them out, for sure. You don't want that smell on anything you put in the bag, or on you as a whole. Lol. :) The smell does fade though. No worries. ;) I will also offer commentary about the website itself: It is busy with hundreds of viewers at once, so it can lag a bit. Also, make sure you have your paypal registered before checking out. I messed that up by signing in with the sign-up form instead by accident and lost everything on my shopping cart, which took time from me--I had to look up the things I wanted to order all over again, add them to the cart, and finally make sure it checked-out correctly.
I agree with kyutie's assessment of Bodyline. The materials are cheap, and you should expect that upon visiting the site-even before ordering, it is obvious lol, but it is decent. You get what you want and it doesn't fall apart from the package. There's little more to expect from it. ;P I'm kind of kidding--the quality really isn't that bad; considering the prices, it is fair. I would give it 7/10 overall too. Although, for me, more points for the shipping and less to quality (though, like I said many times, it should be expected). Thanks for reading! Have a great day and best of luck ordering. ;3
