I'm thinking of blogging, but the thing is that I'm not attractive looking, I have boring cheap as hell clothes, I'm not that good with taking pictures, I live in an rather un-eventful place, and I have opinions on life, fashion, lolita, politics, religion, school, etc. that I'm afraid would be too boring for anyone to want to read. Also, if I do blog, I want to do it on Wordpress since it seems like the best site for me. But everyone on here seems to use Blogger, so I was wondering if anyone on here had a blog on Wordpress that I could look at for inspiration.

If you're crafty at all, you could do a craft sort of blog. Those do really well. Also, if you feel you're too "boring" to feature yourself (I have this issue too) you can always interview other people you find awesome or inspiring. 

No way, I suck with arts and crafts! Um...I'm rather really shy in real life so interviewing people wouldn't be too good either.

You know i think the most important thing when blogging is to blog about something close to your heart. Blogging shouldn't be about followers, it's about being able to express yourself. People don't wanna read a blog where the owner writes about something they don't care so much about just to gain followers. Everyone can see through that kind of tactics and it doesn't work. You know when you find a blog where everything comes from the owners heart.

So i think you can do a blog about opinions :) Write articles and use photos online to make it less heavy from text. (always link back to the source tho so you're not stealing pictures) I'm sure some people will find it interesting, especially if you're a good writer :)

Another option is to start a motivational blog. If you think your life is boring, maybe you want to change it? Lolitagirl here on MAF runs a blog about her dream to become a cheerleader and all her challenges to get there. Writing a blog about reaching a goal is very inspiring, and it's easier to reach a dream if you use your blog to archive every step on your way. I have seen several blogs of girls whos goal are to become a lolita :)

A way to gain followers it to exchange links. If you write a lot about lolita for instance, try exchange links with other lolitabloggers to help each other spread your blogs :)

Many people uses wordpress, but most of them buys a domain name so it's hard to know who's from wordpress, but i know several of my friends uses it :)

lol, thanks Do-chan. Thanks for the advice, Zeruda. But the thing is that I'm not good with writing essays, so trying to write a whole article based on my opinions would be really hard. I'm not sure about that motivational blog. I kind of just want to blog about anything that I feel like that day, whether it's lolita (even though I have zero lolita clothes so it would be more dream outfits and opinions about it), anime, manga, life, politics, life, Japan, fashion, etc. But because there isn't just one thing I want to talk about, it would be hard to get people to read it since it's not specific and sometimes with certain subjects like lolita, anime, and manga, I might blog about those a little more than others. Maybe once I can start affording to get lolita outfits and such, maybe I could be lolita-specific.

well, everyone here on maf use the "blog tool" as a dairy :) you can do it too if you want too :) just write what you feel! I do that too in the MAF blog :) My more professional blog with manymany readers has more selected range of content ^^
