I know that a lot of people don't like school but ever since I was little, I never minded it at least. For the most part, I really liked it lol.

Sooo what is or was your favorite part of school? Elementary, middle, high school, college, or even graduate school!

In elementary, my favorite part was arts and crafts and recess. I moved around a lot so I didn't make any life-long friends from elm school.

I actually hated my middle school because it was a really rough place to be for a little jitter like me, but I found solace in my friends and just hanging out before school, during lunch, and after school. At some point though, our group disbanded and I was left the only person not going to the same high school as all of them.

Not to mention I ended up moving twice, so that meants 3 high schools. But I was used to being the new kid and it was kind of exciting to travel so I liked that.

Now I'm in college and I have to say, I love the freedom and all of the campus activities there are. The people I meet are really interesting and I also love having my own space, even if it's just one room.

It's a shame you haven't gotten replies here.

Oh well. First!

I liked school until 4th grade, when the teacher had cancer, and bad stuff went down. Then, all through middle school, I hated it because everybody hated me. In 8th grade, I got really insecure about my weight, and it was awful.

Now I'm in high school, and I'm one of the most individual people in the school. Somehow, by this logic, I fit in. I really love the people I hang out with. They make me laugh every day. I like my schedules, I like the art program, I like getting good grades, drawing in class, listening to my history teacher's ramblings...yeah, I like school now. It's refreshing after middle school, when I was really depressed.

I'm a masterful mystical maniac.

I love school when I started in kindergarden. My kindergarden teacher really love me in her class just because I always love to hold her hand whenever we go to places in and out of the classroom. I had the best teacher in the world. Sadly, I haven't seen her in a very long time. It is been 10 years that I haven't seen my kindergarden teacher because she lives too far away and also I remember she gave my parents her address and apparently my parents lost it. However, I am happy that I get to go back there and ask the teachers who I knew and see if they can give me my kindergarden teacher's address because I really want to see her.
Then when I was in grade 1 all the way to grade 8 wasn't the best year because a lot of people in my class all were teasing me and calling me names just because they think that I am really weak and I have germs. I didn't had much friends when I was there.
Now, I done high school, but I am coming back for another year to redo all my courses so that I can go to university and make my parents proud of me

In elementary school, I was known as the little girl who always cried (when I was in kindergarten). Ahaha. Elementary was super great! I really loved the art class and I was good in math :D

Middle school was the most dramatic years of my life. This was where "love" came in and everyone was looking for boyfriends/girlfriends. xD I went through a lot of girly drama in middle school. Now that I look back at it, it was so ridiculous but I don't really regret it all ;) Anyway, again, I loved the art classes!

This year is my last year in high school ='( I'd say 11th grade was the best year for me because I found my true friends. I'm looking forward this year! >W< I really enjoy Japanese class and Piano. Once in a while, I would enjoy math if I understood what we're doing even if I hate math! xD

In elementary school, i was a hardworking student and got the highest marks. I liked school, but not at all. I had three best friends and we werent a group because three of them hated each other. :/ weird, i know

Middle school was just a BIG problem. I hated most of my friends, i fighted with them during 3 years. That was a big stress to go school and here is a problem again. Everyday. Most of my friends (i shouldnt call them as a friend) were naughty people. I learned how to get over that. I didnt like crying, complaining and help of adults - like they'd care. I had two best friends and they are still my besties. We cant see each other, they are at the same highschool but i am not. So feeling a little distant, i dont mind it at all. What can i do, time changes. I was a succesful student, so i went to a great highschool.

Now i am in highschool, second year and i just like all my classmates. I fail most of the time, but i just love school and being here.

Hm...I'm in college, but I'll talk about my school experience first.

I didn't attend preschool, and I remember very, very little until 1st grade. In elementary grades (1st-6th, at my school), I loved school. I had great friends, but we were kids so of course we got in stupid spats and said "You're not my friend anymore!" and we were back to normal and playing a few minutes later. You know how that goes ;) Haha. In junior high (7th & 8th, at my school), I still liked school. Math got hard...yes, that was all I hated about school. My friends were great, class was fun, and academics were easy aside from math. In high school -- well, let me start with my 8th and 9th years. They were possibly the best years of my whole school experience. Some kids came over from South Korea to attend our school, and all but 2 were in my grade. One was above my grade, and one below. They were my best friends ^_^ We had SO much fun! I was their American, and they were my Koreans haha. But they left at the end of the 9th year, except for one. In 11th grade, we shared classes with the 12th grade, and they were the funniest class in the world, so it was fun. When I got to my last year, another Korean came and was in our grade (actually he lives with my family, still!), and he became like my brother. The other Korean and I were stil best friends, but that was kind of a miserable year. I was tired of certain people, and ready to graduate.

Now I'm in college! I really like the way it works, as opposed to regular schooling. My university is a great place, but there's not a friendly feeling. People mostly keep to themselves, and most girls are too busy trying to fit in and keep up with expensive fashion that they look down on all the girls who aren't like them. Actually most of the guys are more friendly than the girls.
I'm an English Writing major, and the univerisity has an excellent writing program, so I like that. I'm an Art minor, and the art program is great, as well, so I really like it!
In the art campus, though, the people are great!! Almost everyone is so friendly! My class there is like a little group of friends. I love it.
I talked so much....haha!

I'm a sophmore in college now and in comparision to my previous years of schooling I'd say it is much more fun and easy~!

During my early elementary to middle school years life was kind of hard for me only because I got picked on alot by the other students...Math was really hard to get a grasp on, too. So, my early school years were not that great, haha.

Mind you, I don't do very well with math beyond basic functions, but that's the only subject I've ever really struggled with. Correct my english if I am wrong, but I think I have the learning disability known as Discalculia. It's a math learning disability, and those who have it have an extremely difficult time with math. I mean, extremely diffcult time with math-like, it's almost a nightmare to work through with them. No matter how much study they do, the grade is not good. Word problems especially are extremely hard for someone with discalculia to understand and work through because they can not decipher which information is important to solving the problem.

Unfortunately, I've had this since I was very young, but my mom, at the time, didn't think it was a learning disability.Though I've had problems with math all my life, I was always above my grade level when it came to reading, and writing. I'm not sure if that correlates to my math disability or not, but English/Japanese has always been easier for me than math.

Anyways~

My favorite class is Ancient Japanese literature and translation~I love it alot! It can be difficult sometimes, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty simple.

I also like Pre-modern Asian history, it's really in depth to ancient civilizations. Next year I hope to take pre-modern Japanese History and a mythology class of some sort~!
