I had no idea what to call this post because I don't know the word for what I'm thinking about. However in Sweden we call it "pyssel" and it means small creative things you do with your hands :) That often includes paper, glue, paint and things like that :)

So show off your creations! :)

Chocolate leaves

We made chocolate leaves! Really easy! Go pic some nice leaves, melt chocolate and paint the chocolate on the leaves! Put it in the refrigerator. When the chocolate gets hard again you can slowly and careful remove the leaves.

I used the leaves to decorate a birthday cake  ^^



 

Unfortunately I've forgotten what this is called, but you use beads (plastic, shaped like pipes) and you create patterns on a sort of plate. When your done you use a iron on top of the beads so they'll melt together and create a picture! :) 

I made tons of these when I was a kid :) Now I've been picking up that interest again :)

You mostly recognize our figures from Super Mario And Commander Keen :)

Paint eggs

For easter we painted eggs! I had a Naruto Theme this easter ^^ My boyfriend made a Totoro :) I think they turned out supercool :) I still have them in my shelf even tho easter has been over for quite some time ;) But I like them so much!

It's like play doh but you can create it easy in your kitchen with just water, salt and flour :)

When you're done with your creations you put them in the oven for a while and then they'll be hard and able to paint :)

Poetry album

Here's something I've been working on since 1995. (I was eight years old).

I got this empty book of my relatives from Holland (the Netherlands). They told me to fill it with poetry from my loved ones. They had written one poetry for me as a start. And then I tried to collect more. My mom, dad, granma, granpa and friends were all to write a poery for me.

We ad scrap and stickers to the texts. I had a whole box for them to choose from if they didn't have some of their own to share :)

When I was a kid my granma tought me how to make cards. She learned me how to use fabric in a way I've never used it before. I also had my own ideas using flowers, scrap, wallpaper, stamps, napkins, spangles, stickers and much more. I did some embrodidery too :)

scrapbook

I made my own scrapbook when I was about 13 years old. It was suppose to contain summer memories from vacations and so on. The problem was my family almost never went for vacation so I canged the book into a memory book instead. Any theater, picnic, trip to the zoo and so on ended up in my book along with pictures and tickets :) And all my friends wrote in it :)

Today I'm about to begin on my fourth book. I don't write so much any more, I just add pictures and tickes, but it's still making me remember speciall moments from my life. A BBQ party, a roadtrip, a convent, when my sister is visiting, a nice day in the shades of the oaks, a birthday and so on.
