So I found a beautiful yukata set and can't wait to buy it. It's in a Japanese site and google translate isn't very good. :/ how do I find out the shipping rates? How do I even know if they ship to the U.S.? I'm brand new to internet shopping and really need help. I'd love all the advice you can offer me about international shopping ^^ thank you!!

google it and see if someone else have bought from the store before and how they did it. other wise you have two alternetives - try (and maybe error) or ask a shipping service to do it for you.

You don't HAVE to use a shopping service. not from all japanese sites. I myself have successfully bought things from japanese sites without a shipping service. (i don't read japanese, but i use google translator). however i don't think paypal is so common in japan, so you might need a credit card to be able to pay which is a problem to some.
