Well of course I have to ask questions being as I'm not only new to Oshare Kei but am new to asian fashion as a whole. I just want to know what kind of things should I look for. I use An Cafe as a model for what is a "Good" example of the style but seem to be missing a few key things.

- How to do my hair. (Poofy curls)

- Do's and Don'ts

- Places to get the actual clothes (though I gathered that it isn't something sold in a few stores like Lolita is generally.)

- How to get over the fear of being made fun of by IRL trolls.

I was thinking of Kera... Are your famillar with that magazine? They have a lot of fashion inspiration and hair tutorals and such, and if i remember it right, it's not only for girls.. :)

if you serch on the style on youtube like "Oshare Kei tutorial" it should come up som vids on that stuff like how to do you´re haire and lot of that stuff :3 i think that would work for any style so. sorry for the lame help but im actualy reserchin on difrent kei styles my shelf so i dont know so much about the style yet ^^´  and maby you can look at pictures of the style to get insparation. anyway~ hope that helps a little bit and, good luck :D

Hi! I love to follow the oshare kei fashion and visual kei fashions too!

it's really difficult to find places that sell the right kind of clothes, but I do recommend (although quite expensive) SEXPOT ReVeNGe which is really great for it!

Another thing I love to do is just go down regular high street stores and find something with potential and it's quite easy to rustle up and outfit from a few regular items. Accessories is also a must for Oshare Kei; you can find a whole load of accessories to use from regular shops because the style of Oshare Kei is so diverse.
