I bought my first dream of lolita dress. Alice and Black Cat Print JSK. I've been very curious about these replicas that everyone keeps talking about. Some people say they're equal to the brands, some people think they're a disgrace.

I ordered this:



Dream of lolita is terribly slow. It took them two and a half month for them to make me this dress. They also screwed up the mesurements, so I got it a 8 cm shorter than I ordered.

I didn't order the headband because I had in mind to remove the stomach bow and put it in my hair instead. I do that a lot since i don't like stomach bows ^^'

This is what I got:



I was actually so diappointed about the mesurments that I didn't even nice how different the bows are. They are tiny ribbon bows, not at all as big and nice as the fabric bows in the picture. it would look absolutely pathetic to wear one of those as a stomach bow.

I also noticed a ugly spot of dirt. I saw it at once when I opened the package because the dress was folded with the spot up.



After a while i also notice this:



The print is for the most pretty, but when you start looking carefully you can see the print hasn't got enough time to dry and it has been smered in some places.



The blue squares got some bad grainy squares repetadly.




I am not happy with my purchase. I am very disapponted. Mostly becasue the waiting time and the sizing. The quality compared to the price is okay. So if you're picky about quality this is nothing for you. 

I could recommend dream of lolita for new lolitas becasue of the good price, but i don't think the extremly long waiting time is worth it to be honest. They can't be trusted since the stock picture differs from reality and they can't be trusted for custom mesurements either.

I ordered this dress via Clobba, which I defenitely can not recommend, since they refuse to refund me.

And last I can say, this is not equal with brand, let's kill thos reputations. Even bad reputation Bodyline has better quality on their prints than Dream of Lolita.

I will most likely not buy a dress from Dream of lolita (or Clobba!) again.

Wow, that's a real bummer. It seems to be really hit and miss with Dream of Lolita, I'm sorry you got a miss. 

I am so sorry to hear that. A lot of people have said DoL prints are a little fuzzy but sometimes the brand they are copying is just as bad. But that print smearing is dreadful. I can't believe they think it is acceptable.

Oh, really!? brands can have fuzzy prints too!? Man, that's not cool consider the price tag :/

How irritating, after taking so long to send it to you, they mess up and then refuse a refund.....grrr. A shame that it didn´t work out. :(

AP is the worst offender I think. AP's Sugary Carnival was slightly fuzzy so why people moaned about DoL's one being slightly fuzzy is a little strange.

Hi, well If I were you maybe I wouldn't be angry at all.

 Firstly the original one has two types of jsk, one which is high waist (version I) like dream of lolita picture and other (Version II) almost identical like your purchase, I mean with the two little bows.

 I know that dream ofl olita make a mistake posting a wrong picture promising something that it isn't. And clobba is worst, if qutieland has mistakes, clobba more. It's better with taobao spree, faster and cheaper.

I told all of this because your post makes me investigate about the jsk, maybe it's too late because you are selling it.

serious, the bows are my least concern with this purchase.

and, sure, your right they look a lot like the original, but i didn't expect it to look like the original, i expected it to look like the picture i ordered from.
