I did this mega review post the other day for my blog. But i thought some people might me interested in it too. Sometimes it's easier to have everything in one spot instead of searching all the treads..

Here it is! My shopping experiences!

purchases: Too many times to count
quality: Very good.
sizes: Runs a bit smaller than estimated often. I buy TLL whenever I can.
website: Very slow to load. Use online shopping chart to order. Pictures are very tricky, sometimes too small, and the colors don't appear right sometimes.
payment: Paypal
shipping: DHL, fast and reliable, takes about 3 days to receive an order.
communication: Bad, they don't speak english and it takes a long time to get a reply. Also they spam me.
comment: I like their clothing, but I dislike their shoes.

communication: Bad. Takes a long time for the to answer emails, sometimes they don't answer at all, and they don't keep their promises when I try hard to make sure I buy the right size.
comment: No matter how many new chances I give this company they always mess up. The sizing chart is not correct (shirts too big), the petticoat unraveled, the socks came dirty, the bag broke instant, the dresses are made of thin fabric hard to shape, the clothing has unfinished hems (holes), they send me the wrong size, the custom made dress is too small. It never ends.

comment: Very friendly, wonderful quality and makes perfect custom. They're very fast in making clothing. Within a week everything is ready to ship. I never had any problems. One time they accidentally made a dress too short, but they acted fast, payed for the extra shippings back and forth, resew the dress and sent it back to me fast. No problems whatsoever. Very accommodating service.

communication: Very good. Always respond fast and if they don't they always have a good reason for it and they always apologize. They even followed up my white moon order and asked me how i liked the dress since white moon was a new brand to them and they wanted to get my opinion about it. They also email me and gave me suggestions about changes in the items i ordered to make it easier to wear since i always wear in layers! :) How kind!
comment: Friendly and reliable, it's easy to have a dialog with them and they do anything they can to find the right product for me, I always ask for new colors and they always find a solution for me asking the factories for color samples and so on. If a color is sold out they still managed to make the factory make me one single dress extra in the last color just for me. They're amazing!!!

shipping: good, I think they've changed the shipping rates for the better since last time i ordered. If you bought smaller stuff before you had to ask for a lower rate, I think it's done automatically now.

communication: So-so, they reply to every email, but I'm still not happy with their service. They have never e-mailed me about any status update, I had to email them once a month to ask and they always say "wait a little longer".
comment: My experience here is TERRIBLE. I don't like the fact that they defend themselves and their factories. I don't like to email back and forth an not getting anywhere. I payed extra for custom, I waited extra long for custom, I received a too short dress and they humiliate me by saying the only thing they can do is give me a 5$ refund (custom fee) when the reason why I placed an order in the first place is BECAUSE I could have it custom 8 cm longer which is dress cost+shipping+tax flushed down the toilet. NEVER AGAIN.

quality: good, few minor in the print and a dirty spot. The bag is excellent.

quality: depends on the brand. but good so far (bodyline and Eva)

shipping: you can choose, I chose the cheapest one, everything arrived safely. However it took quite a while for them to send out my package.
communication: very good. They're English speaking, they always respond to e-mails and they act fast.
comment: I really like Cosmates despite the fact that they're retailers which add a lot to the price. However they have a better service than most. When a Bodyline skirt I ordered got ruined in the rain, they refunded me (something Bodyline themselves would never do).

comment: Three years ago Ebay was a fantastic place. Not anymore. I've had very bad experience with the sellers of ebay the last year. The communication is bad, I don't receive my items, I receive the wrong items and so on. The problems never ends. I totally give up on ebay. And the feedback system sucks. You can't even give neutral or negative feedback without receiving an email form the seller demanding you to change it. The whole thing is a joke.

I bought my first dress online from bodyline and I loved it this really helped : )

What is closet child?

Well then, here goes, my review of Closet Child.

Store: Closet Child

Purchases: I have bought from this store about five times.My purchases have included skirts, a petticoat, JSKs, a jacket, a salopette and even a tote bag.

Quality: Good. They deal with brand, so naturally there is a good base. Since they sell secondhand clothes, though, you do find ones that are in better or worse condition. With their 1 to 5 rating system, though, it is quite clear what you are getting. Every stain or snag is photographed for you to see before you click the "Add to cart" button. You definitely see what you´ll be getting.

Sizes: The sizing is very accurate. I have not yet bought anything from them dad didn´t fit; if it says 65 to 70 centimeter waist, you can be sure that it´s those measurements, not less.

Website: Unfortunately, it´s completely in Japanese. Yahoo translator, I think you profusely. The do have English-speaking staff, though, and that person is in charge of answering all questions addressed to Closet Child in said language. They don´t take long to reply at all.

Payment: For international orders, they accept Paypal and/or Credit cards, but frankly, paying through Paypal is so quick that it´s better, in my opinion. You add things to your cart, and once you finalize the order, you have to wait for an invoice to your email confirming what you have bought. Then you can email them asking to be invoced. Yes, it sounds like it´s a long process, but trust me, they are insanely quick answering your requests for invoices. Even now after the earthquake, their sevice has only been slowed slightly.

Shipping: It is done according to the weight of the items, not the amount. So if you´re buying something small like an accesory, it´ll be cheaper shipped than if you buy a OP, for example. I find that quite reasonable, frankly. Though I still wish International Shipping were cheaper. On larger orders, it could be negative that there´s not a flat shipping rate, I suppose.

Communication: Very good. They have Englishspeaking staff (a native Englishspeaker, I believe), which saves a lot of confusion when you have to ask questions about anything. All communication is very quick too. You get invoices telling you what you have ordered, an invoice, and finally another one once your package is shipped. They´re all in Japanese and English.

Comment: Out of all of the things in Closet Child, the one that I love the most is without a doubt their "Holding" system. If you´re a client who has bought at the shop more than once, you get a special "privilege": You can choose when to pay and have the item shipped. So say you see an item that you desperately want, your dream JSK and want to buy it--but you won´t have enough money to actually pay for it until a few weeks pass. No problem: they hold your order for up to a month. And you can add items to that order later on as well. You can send them a email asking for your invoice any time from the moment you confirm your purchase to an exact month from that date. Convenient, isn´t it? You just have to make sure to never cancel that order, otherwise your "holding" privileges get revoked permanently (they tell you the last day for payment). They send you an invoice automatically once your month is over, though, so you don´t need to worry about forgetting.
