First lolita that you made yourself

This is my first lolita that I made myself. It was really fun. The skirt is actually an old dress that I messed with and the petti coat I made myself. Sewed it by hand. The bow on my head was also made by me. It's kinda 50's inspired.

Listening isn't a skill that comes naturally.It's learned. Hearing on the other hand is natural. You can hear someone, but are you really listening to them?

I really like it, look's gorgeous! Someone said before though that it doesn't quite look lolita, just 'Rockabilly'... I wonder what you could change to fix that? Adding frills to the bottom of the skirt? And a parasol?

I know it doesnt look very lolita and I am planning on adding more, it's just that I don't have the frills to do that as of right now. I don't have a parasol....
