Okay, so I met this really nice guy, who has been very sweet to me (look at my blogs for more details http://www.myasianfashion.com/user/blogs/view/name_visualkeifreak/id_4947/)

He seems perfect, except for one problem: my best friend, Adam.

We've been friends for awhile, and he's been my closest guy friend. When I told all of this to him, he at first said that he was sweet and kind, and should take tips from him

but,

all of a sudden, he said he wanted to see him, that he wanted to make fun of him, and shoot the fair (fight) with him, yet HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HIM! AT ALL!

Now, he is trying to look for him on facebook, and find out where I work so he can "talk" to him. What's his problem, and what should I do?

this is why i have such few friends and i hesitate to tell them anything..

I get the impression he A) Cares a lot about you and wants to look after you so wants to check this guy out or B) is jealous

I really hope everything works out for you. It sounds like Adam is a close friend so try telling him it upsets you that he is saying he wants to fight this guy. Hopefully he will respect your feelings and wont start a fight.

Sounds like Adam is jealous of your new friend...

My current experiences says that jealosy won't go away, which only gives you one option - too choose. 

I had to ditch all my male friends when I got a boyfriend. The jealousy was just too much, it wasn't possible to stay friends.... >_>

Unfortunately, Zeruda is right. If Adam really is jealous of this new guy of yours it won't just go away.

What you could do is let the two of them meet and see how they get along.
