I couldn't really find a thread made for online games in general where you share you experience, memories and give recommendations of what's worth trying out.
I have a few games I've been very much in love with while growing up, and I decided I shall put a specific one in the spotlight right now that I probably have played the most of all;
Ragnarok Online , or "RO"
With it's anime-style 2D characters you can't do anything else than wanting to create an adorable character of your own and be a part of the community, cause that's what caused me to play it for so long, the wonderful community. I got stuck in a guild and made lots of friends, and it made sure that I never felt alone and always had someone to get to know better or talk to. Especially where I played they were very friendly, though I've seen other servers having the same thing.
If you want to play this game, you will have to look up a private server, the one I was playing on is called
EuphRO .
If my friends would still be playing I would go back there and play again, though I don't feel like starting over at a different guild, doesn't feel the same for me. Besides, I might be ending up in my room constantly playing if I started up something like that again. Though, anyone who hasn't tried this game really should, and remember that socialization is the key. When talking to people you will better know where to go and what to do, and there are guides online that you can google up. ^^
There is also a new game called Ragnarok Online 2, which is also a lot of fun but is not yet finished. You're able to play it on private servers too, though the content is far from as big as in the first game.
